I woke up that morning feeling tired still from the night before, but extremely happy. I danced the night away with the love of my life and had the best time with her. I heard a beeping sound and I grabbed my phone off of my nightstand and saw that Genna had texted me. I smiled unknowingly and read the text. "Hey do you want to come to the mall? My cousin wants to meet you." I read and smiled. 'Of course I'm going!' I thought to myself and jumped out of my bed and headed to the bathroom. I showered and dressed in black skinny jeans and my Batman shirt. I styled my hair in the mirror and grabbed my keys and phone and headed downstairs. "Where are you going?" My mom asked as I had one foot out the door. "To the mall to meet up with Genna." I said, inching closer to the door. She smiled at me. "You really like her don't you." "Of course I do." I said. "Fine go have a good time with her." She said and I was out the door and already in the car, starting the engine. Once it started I drove to the mall excitedly, Genna the only thing on my mind.

I walked through the mall and looked in every store until I found her. Her back was turned to me so she hasn't seen me yet, so I used that to my advantage. I snuck up behind her and got really close to her ear before whispering "boo". She jumped at least ten feet in the air and dropped the short she was looking at. I couldn't stop laughing and my stomach began to hurt and I started crying. She gave me an evil look. "Jeez Colton! You gave me a heart attack!" She said, lightly punching my arm. My laughing subsided and I wrapped her in my arms. "I'm sorry. You have to admit that it was pretty funny." I chuckled. "Only to you." She laughed. "Hey Genna how about this shirt?" Another female voice said from behind some racks. I looked up and time stopped and my breath hitched. There stood the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. Long, curly golden blonde hair fell over her shoulders and bright blue eyes stared into me. My heart began to race when I saw her soft pink lips. "That's really cute." The love of my life said, still in my arms. I felt guilty. Extremely guilty. "Oh Colton this is cousin Annie. Annie this is Colton." Genna introduced us. "Hi." I said a little breathless. She gave me a dazzling smile back. "Hi." She said. She was an angel. 'Stop it Colton! You're holding your girlfriend in your arms but thinking about her cousin!' This was so messed up. How was I going to get out of this?
