"I'M HOME!" I shouted as I crashed open the front door to my house. I heard mock groans echo throughout the house. I giggled. "Was that really necessary?" My mom asked, coming in after me. "Of course! Now I have to do something before I do anything else." I said and ran upstairs. I burst into my room and began to jump on my soft bed. "It's so soft! So much better than those awful mattresses at the hospital!" I said and flopped down on the comforter. I sighed in relaxation. It was so good to be home. "Genna!" A voice squealed. I looked up to see my little brother Jonathan running towards me. "Jonathan!" I shouted, scooping him up and swinging him around. He squealed with delight. I heard more footsteps running up the stairs and suddenly I was attacked by a fur ball. "Max!" I said, petting my dog as he licked my face. Man it felt good to be home. Jonathan began to babble about Minecraft and Zombie Pig Men and Endermen. I nodded along because I knew exactly what he was talking about. Jack soon came up after a minute or two. His black hair was shorter than I last remembered. 'He must've gotten a hair cut.' I smiled at him as he asked Jonathan where the XBox controller was. They ran off to go play and I was alone with Max for a bit. I petted him and played with his ears when I was interrupted by someone clearing their throat. I looked to the doorway to see my sister Grace standing there. I stood up and fan my arms out, wanting a hug. She silently hugged me and let go. "So how has it been here since I've been gone?" I asked. She shrugged which meant nothing really changed. I nodded and she left. I sighed and flopped on my bed again. I took a picture of my family off my nightstand and gazed at it. My mom as beautiful as ever, with her brown hair and green eyes and Grace with her blonde hair and brown eyes. Tim standing there holding Jonathan. The two were twins I swear! Both had blonde hair and bright blue eyes and looked a lot alike. Speaking of the devil, where was Tim? As if on cue I was squished by a huge body. I groaned in pain because the corner of the picture frame was digging into my ribs. "Get off me please." I wheezed out. He chuckled and got off me. I sat up, rubbing my ribs. "Missed you Little Foot." He said, messing up my hair. I smiled at the nick name. "I missed you too Big Foot." I said. He left my room to give me some alone time. Tim called me Little Foot because my foot was literally the size of his hand. I looked around my room. I never realized how much I would miss it until now. My walls were a pale yellow and I had white trim. A large window covered the west wall. I love my room so much. I laid down on my bed again and sighed in content. It was good to be home.

I didn't realize I had dozed off until I was awoken by a knocking on my door. I slowly sat up and stretched. "Who is it?" I mumbled, rubbing the drowsiness out of my eyes. "Someone's at the door for you. Goes by the name of Colton?" I heard Tim say. That woke me up. 'Colton was here!?' "Tell him I'll be down in a minute!" I said, scrambling to make myself presentable. 'Sometimes he has the worst timing.'
