~Horikita's Vision~

Jian's Future

~Old memories~

"Jian, wait for me!" A girl with long beautiful light brown hair, styled in two buns on the side of her head calls out to Jian in the middle of the road. Her flowery dress flows in the wind as she smiles at him. Jian smiles in response and offers his hand.

She was my hope. She was my oasis in a dry desert.

Jian contemplates in his mind, spacing out from his current battle. As she hurries towards Jian, their hands touch and she suddenly disappears into dust.

I thought I could forget her. I thought that maybe she would help me forget her.

Another memory plays, but except it is another girl. Someone who's not Oasis.

"Hey Jian, let's go out again? I found a new game to play!" A black haired girl with sea blue eyes appears, smiling brightly at Jian, cupping his hand with both of her palms.

Once again that image disappears into nothingness. Jian grips onto his shirt, right above his heart as he is confused about his feelings. The more Jian remembered her, the girl with long hair, dark as midnight, his effort with Oasis went in vain. Soon, the two began to drift apart. Another memory plays.

"I love you." Oasis says, smiling towards him, a guy harboring blond hair and sea blue eyes. The two gaze at each other, love struck. The distance between them is unmeasurable as there is no visible space between them.

Oh? So she left me for a prince? She played me well.

Jian smiles grimly as he finally snaps back to reality, to his battle. He stares at the cold concrete floor with his dead silver eyes.

"Get up." A cold hard voice commands him. He looks up. He looks up to her, the one glaring at him with her intense red eyes. Her armour starts to glow red along with her sword. She grits her teeth as Jian slowly gets up, supported by his sword made from his own blood.

Without warning, she suddenly appears in front of him with godly speed, ending with one of her katana's aimed at his throat.

Time pause. She used it on me, didn't she?

Amused, Jian smirks with a devilish grin, "Are you sure you want to kill me?" Jian asks knowing that she is hesitant as she could've killed him while time had paused.

Horikita hesitates for a second, but only for a second before she makes up her mind. "After what you did to Phoenix, there's no doubt."

A year earlier

Horikita slashes the training dummies with her katanas while beads of sweat roll down from the vision that she received. "Hm. That's peculiar." She remarks, trying to figure out who they were in her vision.

"Everything alright?" Sunghyun, a light brown haired boy with kind orange eyes asks as he holds a brand new towel to wipe Horikita's sweat.

"Yeah, I just had a vision from the future. There's nothing wrong." She smiles, happy from his consideration as he gives her a towel. She presses the towel on her face gently. "Nothing to worry about." Still smiling, she gazes at him as the sun disappears from the sky.
