Sydney's POV
I'm not going to unpack until I have to, it's too much work. I pulled my guitar out of its case and walked out to my new balcony. The balcony already had a chair sitting out on it from the people that had lived here before. I began to play a song called "Remembering Sunday" and sang along with it. It was so quiet outside, playing was so relaxing.
I finished my song and I heard clapping from my front yard, I figured it was just my dad listening to me while on his way to and from the moving truck. I stood and looked over the balcony, but my dad was no where to be seen, it was a boy that looked about my age with black hair and some of the bluest eyes I've ever seen in my life.
"That was really good!" He yelled up at me and smiled.
"Thanks, I didn't know anyone was listening. I don't usually sing in front of other people!"
I don't, and I didn't plan on doing it anytime soon.
He gave a half smile and said, "My names Hayes, and by the looks of it I think we're gonna be neighbors."
He pointed to the house next to mine and said it was his. He seemed pretty nice so I told him to wait and I went down the stairs and out the door to talk to him face to face, he was cuter close up than he was before.
Great. I'm NOT good with cute guys.
