Hayes' POV

We said our goodbyes and I walked over next door to my house.

My mom was in the kitchen to greet me, "Hey honey, did you like the new neighbors? They had a daughter Kacey that was Skylynn's age and she was over here playing. She mentioned an older sister."

"Yeah, her sister is my age, her name is Sydney. I was helping her unpack."

"Wow, she must be something," she laughed, "that's very nice of you, dinner is on the counter."

I ate then went downstairs to watch TV.

"Where have you been all day? You left to go outside to practice lax at like 11 and it's like 7:30 now," Nash asked.

I told him where I was and his eyes got big, "Oh, so there's a girl there."

My face turned red and I tried to walk out, but before I could Nash had me in a headlock.

"What's her name?" He said tauntingly.

"Sydney now get off me!"

I ran upstairs to the kitchen before he could mess with me again.

"Hey mom, did you get the new neighbors' number?"

"Yes honey, why?"

"Do you think that Sydney and Kacey could go to the lake with us tomorrow? I'm sure their summer isn't gonna be very fun if they're just there with each other."

"Of course honey, you're bringing Keith right? Sydney could meet some new people, and Kacey could play with Skylynn."

"Thanks Mom!"

I ran to the house phone. Her mom picked up and I asked if it would be okay for them to go, she said she thought it was a great idea and the girls were all for it. I said thank you and hung up. I was going to see her again. Wait why did I want to?  I don't know. I went to my room and fell asleep because we always leave for the lake really realy. I couldn't stop thinking that I was going to get to see her again.
