Hayes' POV
I wanted to him them so bad, so I did.
"You guys are so stupid!" I turned to Sydney, "They're kidding I promise."
She smiled at me, oh my god I love her smile. We all four sat there on the boat for a minute doing nothing.
"So are we gonna tube, or nah?" Sydney said laughing.
"Haha yeah, I'll go with you."
"Okay!"
Will was driving the boat because Johnnie was somewhere with mom, Kacey, and Skylynn. There was a ramp in the middle of the lake and I told him to hit it. Once we got to it Sydney and I went flying in the air, she just about flew off of the tube.
"Wanna go again?"
"Yeah!"
She was so up to doing anything. I wanted to know her more. We got back on the boat and I could tell Keith was hitting on her. I had no idea if she liked me back so I didn't know what to do. She asked if we could fish, so I said we could have Will take us to the dock. He dropped us off there and we got some poles from Johnnie's truck. Ben and Keith stayed in his truck, so it was just me and Sydney. I liked that.
We were down there for about two hours just talking with each other. I really liked her and I wanted to know if she liked me back so I while she was talking I leaned in and I kissed her.
She pulled back and her eyes were so wide. "I just met you. Uhm, I-I have to go."
