Kasey got to a public beach access and parked. Madison got out of the car and followed Kasey down the dark path to the beach. "Come on Maddie" Kasey said reaching for her hand. She grabbed his hand as they made their way down the sandy beach. "This is beautiful" Madison said as they walked further down the beach hand in hand. Kasey smiled at her. "Madison?" he asked. "Yes?" she asked as Kasey stopped her in her tracks. "There has been so much that has happened between us over the past nearly 20 years. I have been in love with you since the moment I met you all those years ago and nothing ever changed. The time apart may have felt like an eternity, but it was well worth the wait for fate to bring us back together." It occurred to Madison what was happening as Kasey got down on one knee and she began to cry. "Now Madison Austin Stewart, will you do the honor of being my wife?" he asked. "Of course" she said kissing him as he put the ring on her finger. Kasey got up and picked her up and kissed her. "I've waited so long to hear you say those words" Madison said. Kasey put her down and looked at her. "It would have been sooner, but you broke up with me 10 years ago before I had the chance" he said. "What do you mean?" she asked. "I had bought the ring and was ready to propose, but you broke up with me and devastated me" he said. Things started to all make sense now from so long ago. She started to tear up and Kasey lifted her face to his. "Hey pretty girl don't cry. It might not have happened then, but it has now. I love you" he said kissing her forehead. Kasey drove them back to the track. "So how are you going to announce it?" Madison asked. "I was actually going to ask you the same question" he said. "Well I guess we need to tell everyone close to us first and then we can tell everyone else" she said. "Good idea" he said. Kasey called his mom, brother and Shanon as he drove into the track. "Dude, it's about time" Kale said as Kasey told him. "I know" Kasey said. Meanwhile Madison called her parents and Heather. "Well I was expecting this phone call" Heather said with a laugh. "Wait you knew?" Madison asked. "Kasey told us last weekend when he was here" Heather said. "He wanted me to know since after all we have been best friends since we were kids." Madison looked over at Kasey who had just parked the truck back in the driver's lot. "I'll talk to you later" Madison said to Heather. "Ok I can't wait to see the ring!" she said.
