Chapter 19

Denise's POV

When we got to the Washington CIA emergency base, we explained our plan to the Director.

Basically, Kali's team would take care of the Seattle Research Team while my team was on lookout for Gregory and any escapees. Sabrina, Will and Harry snuck inside using Sabrina's invisibility and Harry's ability to look through walls. Kali, Mike and Dustin disguised as inspectors. Kali would talk with the Director of the Laboratory and distract him while Mike and Dustin observed, listened and communicated with everyone else.

Sabrina, Harry and Will were supposed to find the database where they stored information on the Seattle Research Team's experiments, as well as to find a siren to initiate a lockdown when Kali signalled for it to happen. However, if Gregory arrives before the lockdown starts, Sabrina and Harry will have to abandon Will to get outside as fast as possible.

Once in the rented labs of the Seattle Research Team, Kali, Dustin and Mike would inspect everyone's work, buying time for the other half of the group.

When Will, Harry and Sabrina find the database and gather the necessary information, using hard drives that would take in any information on a desktop when inserted into it, they will give Kali the signal to spread out to the exits.

Once Kali is ready, she will give another signal and initiate the lockdown. When the lockdown starts, Kali would explain what's going on to the Director. Depending on his reaction, Kali will decide whether to arrest him or not.

If there was no sign of Gregory, or if he was down, Kali will then call authorities to arrest the Research Team and scout for the stem cell samples. Will, Dustin and Mike would them take these samples home to their research lab.

After that, we requested for a few things following this investigation:

First, we requested that the Director made an order to the lower powers to not share the events that happened outside the lab. Anyone who doesn't keep their mouth shut will be arrested or taken out by the CIA.

Second, we requested that the samples will be given to Mike, Will and Dustin for safe keeping and research.

Third, we asked that Mike, Will and Dustin will be given blood, bone marrow and other samples of Gregory, for further research.

And lastly, that the CIA would not use us, the numbers or any other super humans as weapons or for their own purposes, even if it was for war or battles, until this technology can be further developed.

The Director agreed to all this, on conditions that he received frequent reports on the stem cells from Mike, Will and Dustin.

After that he dismissed us, but when we returned to the Virginia office, we would have a meeting discussing the MKUltra project.

The others were resting in the guest waiting area of the base. We told them that we would talk to the Director alone. When we got back to them, they looked up curiously from the couch. They all looked tired. The Director was behind us when we walked into the room.

"Thank you for assisting my agents in this mission. They could not have completed this mission without your help and compliance," the Director said to them.

"Thank you sir," Lanie said, sitting up straight.

"They have requested that some of you will be taking care of the stem cells and doing research on Gregory. I request that you send me frequent reports on them," he said.

"Also, Agent Reynolds and Prasad will be discussing the future of you and your powers. I'm sure they will update you all on any further developments."
