Kali's POV

The flight to Seattle was quiet, probably because everyone was getting tired. Luckily the plane that Tyler has booked for us was rather spacious. We left him at the airport, he needed to go back to Vegas for an appointment. He did wish us the best of luck.

"Tyler, before you go, can I ask you something?", I asked him at the airport.

"Sure," he said.

"I know you can see into the future, so can you tell us, will this plan work? Will we succeed?", I asked.

"That I cannot tell you," he said and smiled.

"My powers only allow me to see the inevitable future. The cards in my opponent's hand right after he is handed them, the amount of money he is going to bet, the order of cards in the deck after they have been shuffled. I can only see things that are certain.

"This event has many many factors that will cause its failure or success. Many things can change the course of the future. One small slip up may lead to your failure, a lucky coincidence could lead to success. You will never know, not even I do sometimes," he said.

"Well, it was worth a shot," I chuckled to myself.

"I have hope in you all. I have a feeling that you will pull through," he said.

"Thank you. And thank you for your help," I said as we went our seperate ways.

"It's no problem, I'll see you soon. I hope," Tyler said.

"Yup, I hope so too," I said.

Though it was a private plane, there were still flight attendents, though only a few of them, and an abundance of seats.

Each of us took a row each, so we could sleep and be well rested to fight tomorrow. Denise had taken a row of seats in the back and was on her laptop, away from the rest of us. As the plane took of, we spent the first few minutes talking to one another, except for Denise before napping the rest of the way. I did go behind to say goodnight to Denise before sleeping though.

"Goodnight sis," I said as I walked to her area.

"Night," she said monotonously, still staring at her laptop screen and typing something.

I walked around to look at her screen to see what she was doing. I didn't remember us having any work.

"What are you doing?", I asked, looking at the database and information on her screen.

"Work," she said, still looking at her screen.

"We don't have work to do," I said.

"Well, this is a private investigation," she said, turning around to me.

"For who?"

She looked down the aisle, then whispered to me, "Dustin."

"What?"

"It's a long story. But I'll be done by tomorrow," she said.

Dustin? What was going on?

"I'll explain it to you tomorrow. Promise," Denise said, tiredly this time.

"Okay. Get some sleep," I told her before walking back to the front of the plane.

As I walked back, I saw Dustin on his phone in one of the rows. I was curious but I decided to just let Denise tell me later.

I woke up as the plane was landing. Everyone was already awake. I had already discussed the plan with them the day before. We were basically ready to go. Once we got off the plane, we got into a taxi and went to the hotel that Tyler had booked for us. It was around 4 am. It was way too early for anything. We decided to retreat to our rooms and meet at my room at 8. I couldn't sleep at the hotel. Denise and I talked for a while, about Dustin and other things about work, until she wanted to sleep.
