SAM
My locker door was standing in front of me. I put the combination in and took the lock out. Once it was opened, I placed my chemistry book inside.
"Hey," Hailey said to me as she opened hers.
"Hi," I replied and turned around to face her with a wide smile on my face.
"What are you so happy about?" she asked, but in the tiniest moment her face lighted up. "Where did you go last night?"
"I met a girl," I said with the same, probably stupid-looking, smile.
"Really?" she jumped in excitement.
"Yep," I answered- that smile still taking its rightful place on my face.
"I'm proud of you," I chuckled. "I really am." She let out a soft smile and we made our way down the hallway.
"So? Tell me more!" she insisted.
"She's- amazing," I felt the grasp of my teeth on my lower lip. I swear it wasn't a conscious move.
"You really like her," her eyes widened, both surprised and thrilled.
"I do," I smirked.
My mind was still unaware that this was real life.
I mean, I had picked up a girl at a bar.
I had slept with a girl; who, by the way, I topped.
I was having a love story.
Me.
Fucking me.
"So will you see her again?" she asked.
"Yeah. Actually," I stretched the word to give it emphasis and sound interesting, "she's probably outside right now."
"What?" she snapped. "Seriously?"
I broke into laughter. "Yeah." I nodded.
"That's-, really cool."
In her voice I could tell she was having a hard time realizing this was actually happening as well. Not that I could blame her...
"So I get to meet her," her ego appeared. I nodded in response. "So you guys are dating?"
"I- I guess. I mean, of course, we haven't labeled it or anything yet. But I told her I liked her. She said she likes me too. And I believe the words were seeing each other." I giggled.
"That's actually really cool. I am, genuinely, shocked. I admire you. I look up to you. You're my fucking hero Sam."
We both chuckled.
"Yeah, I guess I idolize me now, too. The new Sam is really cool. And she's a top... I'm just sayin'. I mean that's kind of an important detail, you know?" I joked around.
We walked outside and the parking lot was now standing in front of us.
I looked around.
There she was. Leaning on her green Harley Davidson.
She was wearing a white tank top with some details I couldn't recognize from this far and a pair of jeans that- let me put it in a subtle way: were tight.
The helmet was on, but she took it off and her hair blew away.
Like in the movies, when the hot chick unties her ponytail... that kinda thing.
I don't know if it was my imagination, but I felt my jaw drop.
"Woah!" Hailey's reaction took my eyes off of Emma and reminded me there's a world outside the perfection of that woman. "She's hot."
"I know," I nodded, keeping it simple, "I am so gay," I stated with a smirk.
I practically ran over to Emma and without saying a single word, I grabbed her by the neck and kissed her. Sometime later (God knows how much) I had Hailey standing next to us, waiting for an introduction.
"Emma, this is Hailey. Hailey, this is Emma."
"Hi! Nice to meet you," Hailey smiled sweetly.
"Same here," Emma replied.
