SAM

I asked the teacher for a bathroom pass.
"Sure," she replied. "There you go." She handed me a little page, and I took it with me to the toilet. A small sound left my phone, and I reached for it inside my pocket. A notification box from Emma's chat stood on the screen and I pressed my thumb to the home key.

BABE
Hey
You still in class?

YOU
Kinda
Why?

BABE
Skip
I'm outside.

"What?" I mumbled, confused. I finished quickly and dropped the bathroom pass on the floor, so then I bustled to the parking lot. There she was, standing next to her bike, looking astonishing, as she somehow managed to constantly do. The green corset under her leather jacket rounded her breasts into the perfect position, and her jean made her silhouette stand out. I was basically drooling over the woman.

"Hey," she simply said as if there was nothing major to this scene. I cupped her jawline with my left hand and kissed her the sweetest, yet most ardent way I coped. Her eyes were still shut when I finally let go, and I gave myself time to scan her from up close. Her cheeks were invaded by a light rose blush.
"Hey," I smirked. "You look amazing."
She slowly opened her eyes and smiled at me. "So do you." She let her weight on the bike's chair and juggled her leg to the other side smoothly. Then grabbed her helmet, but I realized the one waiting for me wasn't the standard black it used to be. It was a better-looking, still black helmet, with a glass shield to cover your eyes from the fast wind.
"What is that?" I cried with a slight loss of tune in my voice.
"That's your helmet."
"What?" My cheekbones tensed because I simply couldn't stop smiling; and the next thing I know, I'm whining excitedly in a way I didn't even know possible. Emma was watching me with a laugh.
"You're really cute," she mumbled.

I stopped. I stared at her eyes and noticed there was a small shine in them. The eyes, chico, they never lie. I could feel that same shine tingling my own eyes and it hit me: I was falling for her. Falling for real. Falling as in cute obsession, dreamy eyes, non-stop butterflies, miss them when I haven't seen them in a whole day way. And I wanted her to be mine.

I suddenly craved calling her my girlfriend and telling my friends about how she's cute. Them thinking I'm annoying, and having to call Julie because we got into a fight. I didn't want to just fall in love with a girl I was seeing, I wanted to fall in love with my girlfriend.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" I asked.  Just like that.
"Yeah," she answered, just like that. I saw her nod and all, but my brain didn't process.
"What?"
"Yeah. I do. I'd love to have a relationship with you, Sam. And I'm glad you asked. Because in all honestly, I'm falling for you. And I'm looking for the whole package."
A smile showed up on my face and I leaned in to kiss her. It was a slow, shy, sexy, first-kiss kind of kiss, and I couldn't have been more aware of my nerves.
