I was worried it wouldn't be that liked because I don't have a care to fix my grammar mistakes lol.
But 300k and counting is crazy I remember how cool I thought I was once I hit 100. Thank you guys so much I'm glad you liked it! enjoy the second book if you're reading it, if you're not I don't blame you I'm scary and kill main characters sometimes😂 but the second book isn't as shocking.
A few answers to some questions:
Q: Why did Vincent sleep with Iris when she didn't want it?
A: Because Vincent thought Iris was one of the wives who sleep with their husbands business partners because that is what Rupert made it sound like (this is mentioned).WHAT VINCENT DID WAS NOT OKAY SHE DID NOT WANT IT! NO EXCUSES. But he didn't know her circumstances or anything about her as far as he knew she was a participate that disliked him that's why he was so chill around her at first and that's why he later felt so guilty when he found out the truth.
Q: Why did Iris let Rupert push her around for so long without leaving?
A: Well it's in there already but Iris didn't have the resources to find her daughter and she wouldn't leave without her. She did try to leave when she was pregnant but Rupert found her. Rupert was the only person she knew that could bring her to her daughter so Iris did what ever it took to get her and if that meant staying with Rupert then that she would do. She obeyed him to stay on his good side so he would ease up on her and take her to see Jo.
Q: Why did Iris have to suffer?
A: Sometimes it takes the people who deserve the world to suffer for everyone to look at themselves for change. Iris was a good person she was a positive influence on everyone's lives. And sometimes death brings people closer together and since Iris brought so many people together, her death made them look after each other. But Iris wouldn't have wanted anyone else to die besides herself, she was very unselfish and never had been afraid of death.
Fun Fact... If you haven't noticed a trend at least one of my characters are from New England because I'm a New Englander and I love Boston with all my heart so yeah go Celtics
