Time was flying for Iris and Vincent's wedding date. It was almost near. Life wasn't too interesting in the Madden home for the last five months.

Iris and Vincent still displayed affection but were busy with work and catching a killer. NASA got word that Russia was ahead of the game, and they weren't having that. Iris has been needed a lot more lately, but attended work with 8 of Vincent's men around her making her coworkers a tad nervous. None of them had been this close to a member of pride and Iris was so sweet they often forgot how closely tied she is with them.

Jolene had to have 12 outside her school in two in her class in the back. Needless to say she loved it. The kids thought she was some celebrity. Jolene didn't pass that up for sure. She and Iris's birthdays passed making her 8 and Iris 29. Time seemed to fly now and as exciting as it was sometimes Iris wished it would slow down. So these little moments could last forever.

She was equally nervous as she was excited. She knew Vincent couldn't wait for their honeymoon. He suffered the past 5 1/2 months without sex. He was being very good, every time things would get too hot for him, he would push her away and hurry off to to the bathroom to relive the pressure.

Iris would wait and the door and laugh at him. Vincent did not find being the object of her laughter funny so he used her ticklish spots as pay back. It felt good to be happy. Vincent meant so much to her it was frightening. All the more reason she didn't want to be involved in the mob life with him for much longer. She would be heartbroken if she lost him. She couldn't see herself ever moving on if she lost him.

She decided to not think about the sad truths that come with job and instead focused on her wedding that Carol had completely took over. Iris and Vincent were low maintenance... well Iris more than Vincent. This was probably the only occasion Vincent wasn't throwing all his opinions in. He didn't care how the wedding looked, he just wanted to marry her.

The Goddard family, Allison and Bennet and Other NASA members, RSVP'd for the wedding. Iris's mother confirmed her attendance. Still nothing from her father.

She wasn't going to lie, she would be very hurt if he didn't come. Just to put aside his disapproval for this occassion. But it wasn't looking to great. Robert offered to walk her down the aisle if needed be. As sweet as it was Iris hoped her father would change his mind.

Carol took on the bridezilla role for Iris since she was so calm. "Iris you have to be bratty for once! It's your wedding." Carol whined.

Iris rolled her eyes while braiding Jolene's hair. "Two weeks until my wedding Carol, and I'm not a bratty person."  Carol huffed.

"Allison is already in for her dress fitting." Carol said snippy. Even though Carol was the maid of honor she didn't really like Allison since technically she and Iris were friends in the same area longer.

Iris sighed wrapped her arms around Carol after Jo's head was done. "You're my best friend Carol."

Carol lifted her chin proudly. "I suppose you're off the hook." The two women giggled until the door rapped.

Delano and Jacob went to the door. "Do you know this woman?" Delano asked Iris.

Iris got up and looked at the peep. She squealed in excitement. Susanne was waiting at the door. She opened it and engulfed her in a hug.

"My my Iris you look so gorgeous! It's been 9 months since I've seen your beautiful face!" Iris blushed at Susannes words.

"Oh stop it! Come in come in, Jolene is in her room she'll be very happy to see you." Iris pulled Susanne along as she gawked at the beautiful empire of Vincent Madden.
