"You look good, baby. . ." Ming could feel the way her boyfriend's arms came around her waist from behind. And the way his lips did nothing more than smirk as they met with her neck. All until she turned around. Having put her own arms over his shoulders as she giggled at the man who caught her lips. Feeling the want of intimacy in her own that moved away before they could turn any rougher.

"Yoongi. . ." She watched as he ran his eyes down her body. Her body that was covered in one of his favorite silk dresses that met with the tips of her feet. Clinging on to each curve of her frame that he would have writhing underneath him on most nights. Most nights where Yoongi would crave to have her screaming for him to please her.

But right now, he could see the subtle worry in her gaze. And the unknown doubt that it held as her fingers slid down to his suit clad chest. Having unconsciously tugged on the material of his dress shirt. Because she was afraid. Afraid to lose him.

"Kitten—"

"Does he intimidate you, baby? Huh?" Her voice was so soft. Having caressed the air in the most subtle manner as she watched her loves brows furrow. All while the tension just barely changed.

"Who—"

"Jungkook." She could see the realization in his eyes as she cut him off. Having felt the way his arms loosened from around her waist as the name slipped her lips.

"What?" Yoongi let his head tilt. All while scoffing at the girl who only shook her head before sliding her hand back up to his neck.

"Yoongi baby, I can tell that you've changed. . ." He had. Because the man wasn't showing her off like he used to. Wasn't trying to make Jungkook jealous anymore. Wasn't doing anything more than letting the man eye the only girl who Yoongi loved more than anything that exists. And the man who was currently on the way to their house to handle further business at the casino.

"Ming—"

"You don't have to lie to me, baby—just please." Her hands were already held up against his face. Having wanted to gain the man's full attention as his arms tightened all over again. Because he didn't want to tell her why. Why he stopped doing the things that made people find him so undeniably arrogant. And what made people scared shitless of the man himself. Because the minute it seemed as though his girlfriend had even been remotely touched, on the night of the party, Yoongi would've already questioned him. Would've already had the man's blood running cold as the metal of a gun meets with his skin. But he didn't. Didn't question him. Or do anything more than distract the girl who could feel the uncomfortable beating of her heart. Because Yoongi always reacted. Yet he never did.

"I can't lose him, Ming—he's brought in so much money—"

"You're lying—"

"Kitten—"

"No." Ming knew that wasn't why. Because Yoongi didn't care about the money when it came to her. Didn't care to kill someone just to prove that she was his. And his only.

"I know you, Yoongi. I know that people don't intimidate you. That you've always been the one to protect me. So, why. . . why are you letting him get into your head, baby—"

"Because I'm sick, Ming. I'm fucking sick." He cut her off. Having felt the immediate heaving of his chest as the girl's eyes rounded in complete innocence. Because she didn't want to believe him. She couldn't.
