"Come here. . ." Jimin let his hands rest against his girlfriend's hips. Catching the immediate innocence held within the softness of her eyes as she turned around in his grasp with a smile. Having noticed just how amused he looked while doing so. And just how infatuated he was with her as she got on the tips of her toes. Feeling the way his grasp tightened on her body. And the way his breath just barely met with her skin.
But just like that, Jimin knew something had changed. Knew the atmosphere had only turned heavier. And that the girl was about to do something he never thought one would ever give to him. Because next were the words. The words that were enough to have his head tilting. And the base of his heart breaking almost instantly.
"I love you." Her voice had never been more gentle. And he could hear just how genuine the words were as she connected their lips. Their lips that moved oh so slowly. Because they wanted to feel. To feel the love. . . and the care. . . and the intimacy that was always there when the two would lock eyes as Jimin turned them just a little rougher. Having noticed that Nami herself had been startled by her own words. Her own words that she didn't even realize she let out. And her own words that were enough to have Jimin holding her as if she were to leave within a blink of an eye. Because she was everything to him.
"I love you so. . . much. . . more." His breath was so warm. Engulfing the softness of her cheeks that tinged the color of pink from just how cold it was outside. Seeing as though the two had been walking around their favorite downtown places of Seoul. Wanting to only be with each other in that moment. And each other only.
But Nami stayed silent. Knowing that he did. And that he'd love her until he could no longer seek his final breath. Yet it was then that she met his eyes that glistened in complete disgust, the minute the door to her apartment opened. His eyes that no longer stored that same kind of love for her. Nor the same kind of adoration he'd always carry as her tears met with her lips. Because it was all too late. Too late to erase what she had done.
"J-Jimin baby, I promise it's not what it looks like —"
"Then what the fuck is it? Huh?!" She watched as he laughed. Having met his eyes as he does so only to bring his hand to the back of the jeans he attired. Because Jimin didn't care anymore. Didn't care to show that other side of him.
"How hard is it for you to take a fucking hint? Huh?!" Taehyung could already feel the way the metal of a gun met with his skull. A feeling he could remember like the back of his hand. And a feeling that had his lips only parting as he grinned. Because he didn't care. Didn't care to be killed.
"Jimin!" The word had never sounded more startled. Holding such fear within it that the said boy couldn't help but let his eyes fill up with tears. Because no one ever wanted him. Never wanted to love him. To show him what it means to care. Or do so much as crave for someone to the point where your body aches for them as Nami tugged at her boyfriend's arm in a hopeless manner. Even if he was quick to push her away. Having spat out a harsh don't you dare fucking touch me, only to have Taehyung's fist meet with his cheek. Because Taehyung could remember. Could remember the times his sister used to be abused by his father.
But the younger didn't say a word. Didn't do anything more than continue to plow his fist against the boy's skin as unknown tears fled his own eyes. His eyes that closed the minute his sister flashed through his mind. His same sister who had been killed. And his same sister that used to be the one that'd protect him.
