—Trigger warning—
She never thought that the sound of dropping saline coming from ones IV bag would be comforting. Yet somehow the persistent noise had her heart resting at a pace one would define as relatively normal. Unlike the minute she watched the man's feet come from underneath him. All while his hand reached out to hold the air that did nothing more than mock him the minute he hit the car at the end of his falling journey. The same car that instantly went off with countless sirens. And the same car that was the only reason he was still just barely. . . alive.
However, the drugs were still pumping through his veins. Pumping like they would on the nights where he only had his thoughts to keep him company. And Nami knew. Knew that the cocaine and alcohol was something he used to comfort him. Because Taehyung was so damaged. Having been abused and left by more people than he could even remember.
"Miss, Jeon?" The voice that spoke could've never been softer. Causing the girl to just barely flicker her eyes over to the door, even if she wanted to continue watching the man before her and not the one who was lingering within the hospital in angst. Having told Nami that he was going to use the restroom. And not that the one person who wanted nothing more than to see Taehyung dead was endlessly blowing up his phone.
"Y-yes?" She didn't know what he was about to say. Having been faced with the same doctor who instantly took the man into the back the second they got there. And with a sniffle, she watched him move closer to where she sat beside Taehyung's bed. Her hand engulfed with his own and heart aching at the thought of having someone else. . . leave her as well.
"We found multiple fresh wounds on his wrists. And It seems as though he was heavily intoxicated after running his vitals." The doctor's words were so dense. Creating an aura that Nami could already feel beginning to suffocate her. Yet the questions began to come. And she had no way to escape them.
"Would you know any reason as to why Mr.Kim would've tried to commit suicide. Or if he's had a history of trying to do so in the past?" Nami could feel the way her throat went dry. And the way her spine sprung with instant chills. Because she knew she had to lie. Lie about the man's addictions. And about the depression that was buried so deep within his soul.
"No." He watched as she shook her head. Her hair flowing ever so softly against her face. And lips trembling as the heaviness of her tears met with the skin. Because she couldn't help but think about just how insane the man was. Having seen him do some of the most vile things. Yet things that made all danger. . . feel like home.
And the doctor could see the hurt in her eyes that met his own. His own that couldn't help but round the minute she looked back over at the man. Having voiced out a quiet is he gonna leave me only to peer her gaze back over to his own all over again. And he could see the way she softly tugged at the ends of her sleeves. Even if he couldn't see the blood lingering on them. Because Nami always wore black.
"He's a very strong man, Miss Jeon." The doctor gave a smile. All while looking over the boy who had never felt such regret before. "Don't give up on him just yet, huh?" And with a playful wink, the doctor left the girl to herself. Knowing that his words were enough to give her some sort of comfort. Because she needed it. Needed it more than anything. And needed it more than her brother who finally allowed his thumb to swipe across the glass of his phone in an anxious manner.
"Why the fuck haven't you been answering my calls? Huh?!" Jungkook could hear the anger in the elder's voice. And the amusement that it held as he laughed an insane laugh. Sliding just like the man who one could never replace.
"When the fuck were you gonna tell me that Taehyung was in the hospital. Or that the one deal I needed you to make, didn't get taken fucking care of?!" Jungkook knew what he meant. Knew that he hadn't moved the cocaine to their appropriate locations. And that he had been with Ming during the time it needed to be done. Having gotten a text from the girl to come over. The same girl who knew he wouldn't say no. And the same girl who knew that the boy was complete putty in her hands. Because Ming didn't care. Didn't care that her actions were unhealthy. Or that she was doing things that made her feel disgusted with herself. Because she wanted him dead. And what better way than to execute someone who's so blinded to the dangers before them.
"You know I always cover it." Jungkook could feel the way his blood ran cold. All while the thickness of his dark locks fell amongst his eyes. Trying to hide the intimidation in his tone, even if Jin was nowhere near as ruthless as Yoongi. Yoongi being the man who would've had Jungkook killed for doing something so reckless
However, Jin didn't respond. Didn't do anything more than let the woman lying next to him, hang up the phone as she tossed the thing off to the side with a gentle he'll be gone soon. All while letting her hand rest ever so heavily on his abdomen in which he moved down to connect their lips. Their lips that Jin never thought he'd get to connect. Because it was Ming who was lying there completely naked in his bed. And it was Ming who's eyes closed shut in want to see him. . . the minute Taehyung's opened.
Hope this was realistic enough seeing as though it's hard to really depict how such a scene in the hospital would go since I've never experienced a visit that involved a suicide attempt. So my apologies if it was completely ignorant and please let me know if I need to change anything >_< mommy loves her precious kittens as always, and never be afraid to hmu to talk hehehe. Love youuu. Night night. . .
