Finger scrolling aimlessly through random photos on his phone, Taehyung continued to sit there and wait for the front door to emit knocks that he knew would be coming from her. Having glanced at the upper left corner of the device only to realize that the few extra minutes she usually took to get off work, were now turning into hours.

So with a sigh, the man let his lips form into a pout. Continuing to sit on his bed with his head propped up against a few pillows before calling the girl who he knew would answer. But she didn't. And the gesture alone was enough to have his body just barely going stiff. Because Nami wasn't like that. Wasn't one to ignore him. Or not send a text that'd let him know she'd be running late as the man redialed her number all over again. Continuing to do so until the sound of the default voice message began to drive him fucking insane.

"H-Hyung?" It was his voice that came through the line the second Taehyung decided to call Jungkook instead. Wishing that the girl might've simply wanted to go home before coming over to his place. But the second the question of asking if she was there could even leave his lips, Jungkook had already responded with a tired no. Even if he could hear the angst in the elders voice the minute Taehyung cut him off.

"Where the fuck is she—"

"Just try calling her—"

"You don't think I already have?" With a laugh, Taehyung couldn't help but but mock the man. Holding onto his phone tight enough to draw his knuckles white as the beating of his heart, rang through his ears. Because it was then that he came to mind. It being the man who he knew. . . wanted him to suffer.

"Hyung, I'm sure she's fine— just relax." But Taehyung didn't respond. Having felt the way his phone slipped from his fingertips. And the way his lips began to quiver almost instantly. Because he had no idea that the game. . . had already ended.

And Jungkook could hear the silent rustling coming from the other line. All until it went dead. Causing his brows to furrow before he himself got up from where he had been lying in bed asleep. All until the sudden silence that came from the man who was already halfway to the cafe, allowed for him to realize as to why Taehyung was acting so strangely. Because Jungkook also knew. Knew that Jin wanted to kill Taehyung after Yoongi died. But that the gesture would've also been too easy. Too easy and too unsatisfying. Because revenge is all about watching the underdog, suffer.

"Nami." The name had never sounded so soft as it escaped Jungkook's lips. All while an image of the said girl, flashed through his mind. The same girl who was his sister. And the same girl who he'd do anything for just to see smile as he picked up his phone all over again. Calling the man who wouldn't dare pick up. Too focused on getting to her. And too focused on his own thoughts to do so much as peer down at his phone that continued to buzz from where it laid in the middle console of his car. Having the road in front of him go completely blurry due to the tears that unconsciously brimmed his eyes. Just like the man who followed suit. Because Jungkook could feel it. Could feel the angst eating him alive. And the worry that had his body going numb.

"Nami?"  It was Taehyung who got there first. Who got to the cafe that was already closed for the night as he ran across the road after having parked. Uncaring of the random cars that were trying to drive past. Ignoring every beep and every yell that made contact with his ears as he let his fingers graze the glass door. The same door that was locked. And the same door he let his fist break open. Earning the security alarms to follow suit in a deafening manner almost instantly only to be met with her body. . . lying completely lifeless on the floor.

"N-Nami." He couldn't even hear the trembling of his voice. Couldn't even hear the sirens that surrounded him due to the alarms. But he could hear the beating of his heart. And the way it broke the second his eyes latched onto the other girl lying right next to her. The both of them completely covered in their own blood.

"Nami—Nami, please." He knew she was dead. Knew she wasn't going to respond. Yet he still tried. Continuously shaking the girls lifeless body that had never felt so cold before as he pulled her into his lap. Unable to ignore the dejavú lingering within his conscience. Because none of this was new. Not the dead bodies. Not the tears. Not the gun that was still lying in the tips of Ming's digits instead of Taehyung's. Taehyung being the man who had killed his father. . . the same way Ming killed Nami.

"Baby please—" Yet there was no one to listen to his pleas for her. His pleas and his cries that were almost identical to Ming's on the night her own love died. It being the man who she could finally feel hold her again.

"H-Hyung—"  It was his voice. His voice that went silent almost instantly as he caught sight of his sister. His sister being the girl who had sacrificed so much for him. And who was currently laying in Taehyung's lap completely unconscious.

"Noona—"

"She's gone, kookie—she's fucking gone."  Taehyung didn't care to cut him off. His chest heaving and gaze trained on the only woman he had ever loved as much as his old love. Yet his old love had left him. . . while Nami had been fighting to stay.

And all that was to come from the words, were tears. Tears that could've been prevented if Jungkook had kept her away from them all. But he didn't. And never before had he felt such regret as she slumped down onto his knees with his head buried in his hands. Having also caught sight of the woman. . . who would've never gave him what he wanted.

"Where is she?!" Neither thought it could've been him. Could've been the man who had been blowing up Ming's phone. Having noticed that the girl wasn't home like she said she'd be after he went to go check on her. Because it was Jin who met their eyes. Their eyes that immediately glistened when catching his own.

And Jin watched. Watched the way Taehyung got to his feet. Having laid his love down before driving his fist staring into Jin's jaw as he took hold of the man who knew. Knew the game was over.

"You fucking bastard—"

"Taehyung—"

"You knew, you fucking knew Ming was vulnerable so you use her to kill the only person I've loved since SooYun—"

"I didn't know—"

"Don't you dare sit here and fucking lie to me!" Taehyung struck his face all over again. Allowing for his tears to continue to fall as he shook his head with a sob. Wishing that his life could've just been normal. But it wasn't. And it never would be.

"Taehyung, just let me explain—"

"Explain what, huh? Explain that you used the girl who I know you fucking love to kill the one that I do?" Taehyung met his eyes. Unable to suppress the amount of tears falling from his eyes. Tears that Jin couldn't deny had him feeling broken as well. Because he could see it. Could see the pain in Taehyung's gaze as he took hold of the man who let his face bury itself into the elders chest. Because even Taehyung knew that Jin wasn't the reason behind this. That it was all because of the girl who lost the man who she saw as the world.

"I'm sorry, Taehyung. You know that i'm fucking sorry." He was. Was sorry for letting everything crumble right beneath his fingertips. And was sorry for making Taehyung go through something he knew would completely break him. Yet the damage was already done. Was already done and was lying in the form of two girls, lifeless on the floor. Because even the slightest action of indulging on something one knows isn't for them, can get everything and everyone they love. . . killed.

The End.
