#5 The Great Escape

To experiment, I am going to use the first person narrative and you can compare it to the second person narrative, the previous #1-4, and tell me which one you prefer.

This is not going according to plan. Is there even a plan? Here I am, staring up at multiple Avengers (Dr. Strange, Agent Barton, Wanda, and Spiderman), and the Tesseract is lying on the floor, four meters away from me. If only there was a way to tie that thing to me!
I look up, somewhat sheepishly. Spiderman, of whom I've never met before, points his wrist at the Tesseract. I lunge for it at the same time, but Wanda freezes me with her red mist magic.
So, there I am. Frozen, and without my precious Tesseract. Why did I come here? I glare at Dr. Strange. He had obviously alerted the Avengers. I curse myself. How could I have been so stupid? Perhaps it's because I just got off the power of the scepter like some druggie gets off cocaine and is experiencing with-drawl. That, and I haven't eaten for two days, and I just got beaten to pulp by the Hulk not even an hour ago. So, shoot me, I was tired, and I just learned that almost my entire family is dead, even family I didn't know I had.
I address Dr. Strange. "You are pathetic excuse for a magician, you'll have it coming for you one of these days. You better watch your back-"
"I don't think you're in the position to argue," Agent Barton says, and I remember what I did to him a couple days ago. He must still be pretty sore about it, though it wasn't personal or anything. Some people. They can't forgive and forget.
"Let's get some chains on him," Wanda says, "he's using magic right now to break my hold."
Indeed, I was. I only needed a couple more minutes and she would be a pile of attractive goo on the floor.
"So, I'm kinda confused," the spiderthing said, my Tesseract still in his hands, "I thought Loki was dead, no offense or anything Mr. Loki."
"I cannot die," I hiss, "I am a god! You all are beneath me. I demand that you let me go this instance! I fought against Thanos and died trying, and this is how you repay me?"
Wanda tilted her head and glanced at Dr. Strange. "How is he alive anyway?"
"This is the Loki that attacked New York," Dr. Strange explained. "This is the Loki that stole the Tesseract when Stark was trying to gather it to stop Thanos."
Loki noticed the Spiderling flinch when Stark was mentioned. Even Dr. Strange was saddened by mentioning the name.
"Is the mortal man with the iron suit dead?" I ask, trying to pry upon their weakness.
They didn't disdain to answer me. Instead, Dr. Strange produced chains, magical chains, to hold me. He approached me slowly and Wanda made me hold up my hands to have them locked together. But she underestimated my ability and I broke her spell, pulled a knife and promptly stabbed Dr. Strange.
"I said to watch your back, but I stabbed you in the front, sorry," I apologized profusely as I leapt up and tried to stab the Spider boy as well.
Agent Barton was right there, in my face, pulling off his ninja moves, and he had twin blades as well. But as soon as my blades hit his, his blades cracked into two. In the moment of his surprise, I went to stab him right in the crack of his vest, but I suddenly found webbing on my both my knife hands, and I was being pulled back by the Spider boy, who was surprisingly strong.
Agent Barton, seeing his opportunity, said, "I've always wanted to do this," and promptly punched me in the face with all his might. It hurt, and if I was a regular mortal, I might have broken my nose and some face bones, but since I am wildfire incarnate, I simply felt a small bruise blossom on my cheek, which frankly, gave me a bad boy look all the ladies would love.
Unfortunately, Spiderboy still had my hands tied up, so I changed shape, something which I'd never done in front of the Avengers. But I turned into wildfire and burnt the webbing right off. Now you may be wondering, why hadn't I done this before?
Well, I did it a lot at home, but the only reason I didn't do it during the Attack of New York was because of the Scepter. For some reason, whenever I have my hands on an Infinity stone, I cannot change shape, only cast illusions.
There's one problem with my wildfire Aspect. I cannot grab anything. But I can burn. I burned Agent Barton, who yelped and backed away, cursing. I went to burn the Spiderboy to give me back my Tesseract, but Wanda stopped me from attacking the boy with her magic.
I was using up a significant amount of glam, and I hadn't changed Aspect in a while, so I couldn't break her spell. Instead, I was forced to flee. Still in my Wildfire Aspect, I burned a hole straight through the wall and fled with only my life and a raging desire to destroy everything in sight.
