𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚

One shot

Note: This was a draft I planned on deleting. I decided to leave it in for any of you guys who wanted to read it:)

As you got into his car, he explained his 'gift' was located in his house,

"I swear if it's something huge I won't forgive you"

Yami chuckled. You didn't like people spending so much money on you. You liked being independent,

"It's not too big .... at least that's what I think"

Yami greeted the security guards before they opened the gates. His house was enormous! The front lawn was covered in all kinds of flowers. On the side, was the driveway which led to an even bigger garage. Three balconies' were on the top floor with the biggest taking up the center of the building. You looked around amazed,

"You live alone here?"

He side glanced at you before parking in the garage,

"No. Yugi and my grandpa live with me"

You hummed in reply. Even if Yami did live alone, you wouldn't be surprised. He was pretty kept to himself. Yami rushed to your side, opening your door before holding his hand out,

"Follow me"

You softly grasped his hand before following. He led you to the backyard which consisted of a big garden. He then proceeded to lead you to the very back,

"Okay now close your eyes"

Mischief laced into his words. You covered your eyes with your hands. You wondered what he was up to. Slowly, Yami pulled your hands away. You spotted beautiful red roses blooming from many bushes. The area was formed around a small water fountain which contained intricate Egyptian designs. You squealed in delight before hugging Yami,

"This is so beautiful! I- I don't know what to say"

Yami rubbed your back comfortingly,

"I made this garden specifically in your honor. I know you loved red roses"

You nuzzled your face into his neck, softly placing a kiss on his skin,

"Thank you Yami"

You hugged your lover for a few moments before pulling away,

"Hm, now that I think about it, are you Egyptian by any chance?"

Yami looked entranced by your words,

"By the look you're giving me I'm probably wrong bu-"

He cut you off by kissing your cheek,

"I am actually. It's a really long story. Let's just say I have a long ancestry"

You chuckled before nodding in confirmation. You walked around the garden holding hands,

"So, when are we going to egypt"

"I'm going in the summer"

"Hey I said 'we' not you"

"I know I avoided that on purpose"

"Wha- Yami you're so mean!"

*chuckles*

"Don't worry I'm bringing you along, you'll just have a lot to learn"

"YAYYYYY!"

And into the night, the two of you walked.
