Love and Sorrow

"Sorry boys we'll be taking our guest off of your hands, thanks" they say in unison. How do they do that I thought as they were carrying me up the stairs. We entered their rooms and I was shocked to see Hermione there.

I looked between her and the twins "Hey Hermione" I say awkwardly, she waves back and the twins sit me down next her. I chuckled nervously "guys what's going on?" I asked scared to hear the answer.

"Well Yang, someone has requested our assistance" says Fred pointing at him me and George. I looked up at him confused.

George smiled "our little Hermione has requested our help in wooing young Ronald" I quickly looked at her smiling widely hugging her.

"Lilian I don't know why you're so happy, it's completely normal for a girl to ask someone out" she says patting my back.

I let go of her and look up " I know it's just that I love when two people who are in love get together" I tell her with determination in my eyes.

"So like you and Draco" I hear one of the twins say. I look at them smiling widely, they tried their "I'm innocent" smile but it didn't work. I stood up to them and smacked them with pillows before sitting down again.

"I've never seen you act so violent outside of quidditch" says Hermione the same time Fred and George yell out that I'm the devil causing her to laugh.

"So Hermione what's the plan?" She looked nervous.

"You see I don't really have one that's why I asked you dorks" she says smiling looking up at us "they wanted to explode powder during breakfast with Hermione loves you on it" she says before explaining all the different ways we could get expelled "I am honestly clueless about asking someone out"

I looked at the boys "what does Ron like?" I asked and they both answered with Hermione which caused her to blush "no not who he likes, what he likes" they nodded and said he like wizards chess. I thought for a second "I have the perfect idea" I jumped up squealing and Fred and George did too.

They stopped "what's the plan yang?" They said.

I looked at Hermione pointing at her "you will challenge Ron to wizards chess during our break" she looked confused.

"I can't beat Ron at that game" she says standing up

"You won't have to beat him, cast a spell on the board that will make the king and queen dance  while the broken pieces spell out will you go on a date with me" I say to her using my hands to explain my idea. Everyone in the room nods and we spend two hours tweaking and fixing the plan. I looked towards the clock and saw it was close to curfew and quickly got up realizing the long walk that awaited me "sorry guys but I have to go, I'll see you tomorrow and Hermione good luck things will go perfect" I say hugging her before walking back to the Slytherin common room.

Next day
I was running to the dining hall, I couldn't be late I had to be there for Hermione. I ran into someone and we both fell back, I quickly got up "I'm so sorry I have somewhere to be" I said getting ready to run again.

"Planning on budding up with the mugblood and Weasles are you?" I heard an all to familiar voice say.

I looked up at him "excuse me?" I asked shocked and glared at him and his goons

"You heard me half-blood" he says, pushing me to the ground.

"What the hell is wrong with you didn't we agree to start over and be friends a few days ago" I told him causing him to laugh

"As if, like I'd ever be friends with you, you think I actually enjoyed talking to you? You repulse me" he spat out, I was shocked and didnt saying anything, I was a deer caught in headlights. "Your own mother didn't even want to be with you" I sucked in a breath and felt my eyes water I looked down at the floor clenching my fist ready to punch him when someone beat me to it.

I looked up at Harry "thank you" I said to him, he hugged me and I felt safe and warm. I started to sniffle and pulled away from him. "I'm s-sorry but I need to g-go" I said with little hiccups as I ran into the forbidden forest.

Harry's POV
Hermione and Ron were in the end of the game and she was losing terribly. I looked in the dining hall waiting for Lilian, I'm surprised she's not here yet since she is the mastermind behind this "game". I looked around and noticed people were whispering to each other and leaving the dining hall.

"What's the meaning of this?" Asks Ron as the words will you go out with me appeared in front of him. Hermione looked at him as if she expected this outcome.

"Will you go on a date with me Ronald?" She asks staring at him. He blushed madly nodding his head yes and hugged her.

"There is a fight about to break loose between two Slytherins, hurry or you'll miss it" some one yells out. Me, Ron, Hermione, and the twins all look at each other knowing who it might be. Realizing it we ran out the door to find a group of people around the corner. I look at the center and saw
Lilian on the floor, that angered me, since the quidditch match I've been very protective of her and seeing Malfoy loom over her didn't help settle me down.

"As if I'd be friends with you" he told her harshly "you think I actually enjoyed talking to you? You repulse me" he spat out I started walking towards the center and saw that Cedric, Neville, and Ava were standing there with their guards up if Malfoy planned on making a move. I focused back to the middle circle and heard "you're own mother didn't even want to be with you" come out of that bastards mouth. Everyone gasped, I noticed Lilian didn't say or do anything she just looked down clenching her fist. She looked like she was holding back, trying not to hit him, good thing I'm not like her I thought punching Draco in his stupid face.

She smiled up at me and thanked me. I hugged her, I didn't know why but i had a feeling of protection for her. She let me go and said "I'm s-sorry but I need to g-go" before running off to who knows where.

I heard a sudden bang and looked behind me. I saw Fred and George pin Malfoy to the wall giving him an angry expression "what's your deal?" They said menacingly "she was the only one who tolerated your stupid ass, saying you weren't a bad guy, well you sure proved us right" I looked at Draco and he looked like he was in pain but soon put on his signature smirk.

"Please, how is this my fault she brought this to herself by being so hopeful that the bad guys will change" he says. Fred and George look more mad until Professor Snape walked in the hall causing them to drop Malfoy on the floor.

"What is the meaning of this? Someone better speak up" everyone was silent, most of these kids were scared of Snape. "If no one knows then I'll take the twins since they seem to be the main perpetrators" this cause Malfoy to smirk.

Hermione stepped up "the Weasleys had nothing to do with this, they were defending Lilian after this roach made her so upset that she ran into the forest" she explains. To say snape looked mad was an understatement, his face morphed into an angry look.

Everyone took a cautious step back as he looked at Malfoy "mister Malfoy please see me after all your classes, if you don't we'll be writing a letter home to your father and you wouldn't want that right?" Malfoy shakes his head and scurries off, he turns and looks at the rest of us "someone go fetch Miss. Evans and the rest of you go to class" the twins ran into the forest without a second thought. I hope she's ok
