Fred and George took me to the library since it was quiet and close to the infirmary. I sighed looking at both of them "guys I need to tell you something" I say taking a deep breath. They both looked at me curiously "what I'm going to say might shock you, I wanted you to hear it from me rather than from someone else" I tell them, I started playing with my thumbs "Professor Snape is my dad" i blurted out quiet enough so they can hear me but others couldn't.

They laughed out "haha seriously Yang, who knew you had such a great sense of humor!" Slapping their knee they continued "really Snape? You don't even have his last name how could you think of that lie"

I looked down and took out my ID and gave it to them so they can inspect it "muggles use these for identification purposes, it has my information on it like my last name" they started looking through it and saw Lilian Evans-Snape and looked up at me "when I came to Hogwarts he spoke to Dumbledore and they both agreed that it was to dangerous for me to keep his name so I kept my mothers" I looked down again but was suddenly hugged by George and got my hair ruffled by Fred.

"Do you really think something like this was a big deal, it doesn't matter who your father is you are you and a name doesn't change anything" said Fred.

"Yeah! This means we can probably get away with pranking people" says George enthusiastically I laughed but frowned.

"I'm not coming next year" I whispered out.

"What?" They both asked.

"Between avoiding Draco and the trio finding out Snape is my dad and not being able to trust me, I think it's for the best I don't come. I'll be here the year after that just not this upcoming one. I need to give them space" I say sadly. They nodded in understanding and sadly asked when I was leaving. I leaned back on my chair "I'm sure my dad will be ok with me leaving, so I say in a few days" they smiled evilly at that and got up abruptly.

"Meet us in our room, the fat lady will know you are coming and bring your speakers" they pointed at me excitedly "we are sad that you are going to leave, but it'll be the best goodbye hangout ever" they finished walking out of the library causing me to chuckle.

The day before leaving
Only the twins knew I was leaving, and I asked them to keep it a secret from everyone else. There was an hour before I had to meet them so I went to say goodbye to Dobby. I knocked on the kitchen doors and was greeted by a smiling Dobby. "Lilian, you came to sing with us again" he exclaimed jumping up and down.

I looked at him sadly and knelt down to talk to him "I'm sorry Dobby I came to say goodbye" he looked at me confused "I'm returning to the muggle world for a while, I'll be back in my fifth year, I need time for myself to think" I say to him.

"I will miss you Lilian" he says hugging my leg "I will be sad that you are going to be gone, but happy you will return" I smiled and hugged him before getting up walking to the door and waving getting ready to leave.

I stop dead in my tracks when I see Draco standing at the door way "you're leaving?" He says breathless as if he were running.

"How did you find out?" I asked starting my walk to the Gryffindor common room.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me back "answer the question, are you leaving or not?" He says, I pulled my arms away from him and nod. Draco looks at me sad "is it because of me, I can't live with myself knowing that I'm the reason you decided to leave. I'm trying really hard to be nicer to others" he says whispering the last part.

I grabbed his hand causing him to look at me "im not going to lie and say you arent the reason for me leaving because you are a tiny part. The rest is of my own doing, people need space from me and I'm going to give it to them. I'm glad you are attempting to be nicer, I wish you luck with that" I say hugging him "please don't tell anyone, I'm sure the twins were the ones who told you. They are the only ones who know" he hugs me back "good luck sorting out your priorities, I really wish the best for you" I say pulling away from him.

"Can I write to you?" He asks rather shyly.

I nod "yes, but this doesn't mean we are friends again" I told him.

He smirked "wouldn't dream about it" he says as I walk off.

I turn to look at him one more time holding out a peace sign before turning around and running to the twins room.

Once I got there they had boxes of chocolate frogs along with different assortments of candies. I set up my speakers and we listened to music all night long. We danced and sang, the boys even managed to smuggle in some mini fireworks. I slept in their room that night since it was past curfew and we wanted to spend every minute we had left together.

It was morning and I was walking to my room, good thing everyone was in class when I went to fetch my things. I quickly grabbed what I needed and began walking to the front of the school. I was stopped by Draco before walking off of school grounds "here" he said handing me something wrapped in paper. I opened it and saw the friendship bracelet I threw away after our fight. I looked up at him and was about to say something when he cut me off "I know that we aren't friends yet so hold on to it until the day we are" he says before walking off.

"Thank you" I shouted out causing him to stop, then wave before leaving.

Harry POV
Lilian didn't come to class today I hope she's ok. I looked out the window and saw Hagrid lead her to the boats that take you to the train. She had her suitcase with her and the twins were waiting for her, they hugged her and she got on the boat. Class was soon dismissed and I ran to Hermione and Ron "guys, Lilian she-"

"Left, we know" says Hermione. I stared at her wondering how she knew when it just happened. She sighed "we all saw her leave, we were in potions and saw Snape glance out the window, when he did that everyone else did too and we saw her leave"

We heard some kids shout "hurry we can still catch up to her" as they ran out the doors on their way to the boats. The three of us ran with them by the time we reached there she was already far into the water. Kids were shouting for her not to go and others were yelling thank you's. She got up and faced us smiling "I'll see you all in a year, be safe and have fun" she yells out waving at everyone as fog covered her and we didn't see her. Sighing all the kids who showed up turned around and walked back to class some even cried.

The twins walked up to us looking ahead at the water. Hermione looked up at them "surely you know why she left all of a sudden" she asked. they continued to look at the water before looking at us with a sadden look.

"She overheard you guys saying that she couldn't be trusted and question her motives. She thought you needed space from her to gather your thoughts about her. But she also needed her own space away from her dad and she said she "needed to work on herself" whatever that means" says Fred.

So she left because she didn't want to make us uncomfortable? I looked at Ron and Hermione and it seemed they had the same idea I did.
