The Sad Truth

19 Years Later

"Come on we are going to be late" I hurried my daughter as we ran to the platform "your father should already be there" I say as we practically start running.

I see Draco at the entrance "what's the hurry?" He asks stopping me and Sarah "you've still got twenty minutes" he says laughing at us. He flicked my forehead "you never learn do you?" he says leaning down for a kiss.

I flick him back "nope" I smiled up at him giving him a peck.

"Gross" says Sarah,

I smirk at her "you wouldn't be saying that if it were you and Neville's kid Nick" she blushed and put her platinum blond hair in a ponytail. "Let's go" she mumbled walking through the wall.

Draco walks next to me "you love to tease her, but don't like it when you are the victim" I nodded smiling up at him.

We were walking to the train cart when I heard "Dad, what if I am put in Slytherin?" From my dear nephew.

"Albus Severus Potter, named after two Hogwarts headmasters, one was a Slytherin and he was the bravest man I'd ever known" I smiled hearing that "and if you are a Slytherin they just gained a wonderful young wizard, and if you are keen on not being a Slytherin the sorting hat will take your choice into account and put you in Gryffindor"

I jogged up to them "Al!" I said hugging him and he hugged me back. I looked at Harry and smiled up at him "Slytherin is good too you know people in that house are just more self reserved" I say looking back at my husband giving him a wink. He scoffs and leaves to find our daughter "good luck kiddo" I say ruffling his hair.

I saw Draco and Sarah with Neville's family, Sarah and Nick were talking about potions and herbology and I look towards Neville "doesn't it remind you of the good old days?" I asked him

He chuckled "let's hope my child isn't as crazy as you are about potions" he says winking at me.

"I could say the same about my daughter" I tell him patting his back.

"All aboard" I heard the train conductor yell. Draco and I went to Sarah and group hugged.

I looked down at her and hugged her "you are going to experience both good and bad things, enjoy every experience you get" I pulled her away from me and looked at her "you are going to accomplish great things" i kiss her forehead "I'll love you Always" I tell her. She hugs Draco and he is giving her his own advise. Getting on the train she faces us and waves as the door closed.

Draco hugged me from behind as we waved goodbye to our child "what did you tell her?" I asked.

"Oh you know, not to be scared to let anyone in and if Nick is the one, she should go for it" I smiled up at him and he pecked my lips "plus I made a bet with George that they would get together this year, I mean we liked each other our fourth year" I slapped his chest.

We walked to our group of friends and watched our children leave. Although it was the end of our story, it's the beginning of theirs, I thought waving at the train that had already left.
