Going Good

"What are you guys doing here?" I squeaked out.

"We came to see Rons game. Shouldnt you be getting ready for the match?" asks Fred and I looked at him confused.

"Why would I do that?" I ask tilting my head.

George looked at me "Isnt Slytherin playing Gryfindor today?" he asked.

My eyes widened and I started to freak out "Thats today? How could I forget! I was too busy making a, that doesnt matter. Geez I have to go, I dont have classes to take today so I can go put in a little practice time. Oh God-" I was stopped by the twins handing me chocolate, I greatly took it and started to eat it and that really calmed my nerves.

"Are you sure Malfoy didnt have anything to do with you forgeting" they said in unison. That caused me to choke on the chocolate and George patted my back.

"o-of course not" i coughed out, not sounding believable.

They stared at me smiling again "that's why you walked out with a stupid grin on your face touching your lips" they said ruffling my hair before walking away leaving me a blushing mess. "Oh yeah, good luck today! Your going to need it we heard Ronald was in the zone" they yelled out turning around the corner of the hall.

The game was in full motion and my task was to make sure Harry was distracted from getting the snitch and be a back up for our keeper. I looked at the field and noticed that the twins were right, Ron really was on his game. I looked away when I saw Harry speed past me, I was flying next to him and threw the bludger at the end of his broom causing him to spiral out of control. Suddenly I was between two of Gryffindor's beaters, they were bumping into me so I simply pulled back my broom and did a flip back to the hoops. Ginny was closing in hot so I threw the bludger in front of her causing her to abruptly stop and get the ball taken. That's what I did most of the game, we were in the last seconds when my finger started to burn even more an after effect? I thought ignoring the pain and focusing on the game. We lost to Gryffindor, I had fun so that's all that matters I cant say the same for my team mates though.

"Hey, we are having a party for Ron celebrating his first game, would you like to join us?" a voice says walking up to me.

I looked to my sided and noticed Neville "Thanks for the invite but I have to do something about this" I said showing him my bandaged finger.

"what happed and can I see it?" he asked pointing at my finger. I nodded and took the bandage off. I expected to see the tip of my finger red but the veins in my finger started to be more prominent and he gasped. Quickly he grabbed my hand and started to take me to the infirmary, we were in front of the door and I stopped  my foot.

"No, I cant" I say, he looks at me and asks why "well you see, I've been creating a potion to help against you-know-who and I wanted to see how it would work on a person. I tried making it so that the person gets shocked but I didn't calculate that it'll have an after effect. So far I've gathered that the pain gets more powerful and the pain hits in intervals of five minutes. its spectacular" I say looking at my finger. He looks at me weirdly and I catch his questioning look "don't look at me like that, you were literally fangirling showing me your gillyweed collection yesterday" I said putting my bandage back on and wincing a bit.

"isn't that dangerous" he says looking at my now bandaged finger.

"Nope" I smiled out "I mean yes it is dangerous but I made an antidote to uncommon potions so I should be fine, I want to know what this baby does. So please keep this between us I don't want anyone knowing about it" I tell him waving my finger walking away.

"where are you going?" he asks.

"Im going to work on my potion, I need to figure out the last ingredient" I say, he follows me to the class.

"can I see it?" he asks. I nodded, when we got to class I gathered up ingredients and started mixing the potion together. When it was done I laid it out around the tiny house. We watched as the liquid solidified into tiny chains around the house.

"cool" he mumbled.

I sighed out "I need something that can make this expand and make a dome around the house" I said. He got up and quickly left, I was putting everything away, one of the books that Neville had brought down for me was suppose to go back on the top shelf but I couldn't reach so I stretched attempting to put the book back.

"You should really be careful especially being alone in a classroom" A voice said wrapping their arms around my waist.

I squeaked knowing it was Draco "um, what are you doing here?" I asked turning in his arms.

He looked down smiling at me "I saw Longbottom follow you in here, I wanted to make sure he didn't try anything" he says pulling me closer to him.

"Like what you are doing right now" I say putting my hands on his chest trying to give myself space.

"Exactly" he says starting to lean down.

A "ehm" came from the door and I pushed Draco away from me and stood there awkwardly looking at Neville "Am I interrupting something?" he asks looking at the both of us. I shook my head quickly.

Draco coughed "I was just going" he says turning towards me, pecking my lips before he walks out of the room.

"I-" was all I managed to say staring out the door. I looked at Neville and saw him smirking at me.

"nothings going on huh?" he says, I covered my face and mumbled for him to shut up. "I think this will help" he says showing me a plant. I looked up at him confused, "this is excresco, the plant is found in most giant villages. Hagrid let me have a piece and I've been growing more ever since. Its mostly used to enlarge and rise but depending on how big and high you want it it has to be brewed a longer amount of time" he says handing me the plant. I looked at him excitedly and hugged him.

"Nev your the best" I told him. My body suddenly felt numb and I fell on the ground. I was paralyzed and my body felt hot, almost burning, I looked towards Neville and moved my eyes to the bag hinting that I had the antidote there. He quickly took it out and put the mixture in my mouth, a few seconds passed and the burning sensation started to subside and I felt normal again. I sprawled out on the floor "Yes!" I squealed "It worked, thanks for the save by the way. Now all I have to do it make that paralyzation hit faster" I laughed out.

He helped me up "You're crazy you know that right?"
