True mate

Chapter 10

I woke up naked next to Shade, to my husband and wonderful mate. I remember last night and sigh, staring at him with love in my eyes for him and only him. His chest was steady with his breathing and his cross tattoo moved with every breath, his hair is messy and his muscle tone was hot on him. I moved closer to him; his arms shot around me instantly, "You know it's not nice to stare. " he mumbles into my should.

"Yes but I can't help it that my mate and husband is adorably hot."

"Aw, I love you. Oh my gosh I'm turning into a girl." I giggle.

"I love you too honey." He kissed my lips, I moan but then push him away.

He growls, "Why?"

"We have to go, remember?"

"Yes but why can't we have a little bit more fun before we go?"

"Because we need to go," I look over at the clock and see that it's 9 am, "besides we are already late."

Shade sits up fast. I take the sheet and wrap it around my body and go to our closet. "Why do you cover up your body from me, when I've already seen it."

"Because I don't want to let you get all horny again, besides I can barely walk." I grab a blue lace bra and the matching underwear with a black tank top and some black sweat pants. I go into the bathroom and take a shower. The door opens and I see Shade come into the shower with me. "What are you doing?"

"I want to help you get clean and make sure that you don't fall." I smile at him. He grabs the wash cloth and puts body wash on it. He starts rubbing it on my back and my butt. "I really want to have sex with you again."

"No we can't. Thank you for getting my back but I'm good now and obviously am not falling down." I try to push him out when he pulls me closer, "Shade." I say in a warning tone.

"Fine, Can you get my back then?" 

"Sure." he turns around and I rub his back with it. I put my shampoo in my hair when I was done and was it out. "Okay one round that's it." I say after seeing him when I open my eyes to see his eyes looking hungry.

After we were done in the bathroom we got out and got dressed just to hear a knock on the door. Shade opened the door and in walks Blake, "May we help you?" I ask putting on my shoes.

"Rebecca? Is it really you?" Blake looks straight at me with what looked like love and pain.

"It's Alice now but yes it's me. How may Shade and I help you?"

Blake growls, "You're mine!" with that Shade growls and gets in front of me.

I got up and touched Shade's arm, "Blake, I'm not yours. Remember, you rejected me. I'm Shade's now." I move my neck so that he can see my mark and that's when I knew that was a mistake.

"You are my mate! Not this Alpha!"

Shade and I both growl, "How dare you, come into our home and say that I am yours and insult my mate, who put me back together when you broke me. Besides you just want to be with me because I am fit and can defend myself and a pack but you know what you lost the chance to be with me when you rejected me that night when you were sleeping with one of the pack's sluts." Shade growls and snakes his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him. Blake takes a step closer to us or should I say me.

"Rebecca..."

"It's Alice not Rebecca besides we're only going with you so we can protect your pack because our kind need to protect one another no matter what so you, Alpha Asshole, need to forget that I was ever your mate because you are not my mate, Shade is." I feel Shade tighten his grip on me and tense up when Blake takes the last steps towards me.

Blake cups my face in his hands and I feel disgusted by his touch, then he has the nerve to kiss me right in front of Shade. Kim howls in pain and anger that he would kiss us when we are not his anymore. I was literally choking on his sent and could not breath. I couldn't feel Shade anymore, his arm was not around me anymore and I feared for him. I push Blake away and see Shade on the floor in a crumple, "Shade!" I rush over to him only to have Blake pull me into his chest. "Let me go!" he wouldn't release me, so I brought up my foot and made him fall but what sucked was me landing on top of him. I stand up as fast as I possibly can and get away from his grip.

I kneel next to Shade and see that he's still breathing but he's knocked out cold. I put my hand on his face and a tear escapes my eyes because he's barely moving. I hear a knock at the door and I end up yelping when a rouge comes in through the window and attacks me and Shade, so I did the thing I never though I would do in a million years...
