Chapter 22

I turned around to see Arrow. I smiled and hugged her, "Oh my wonderful friend! How I have missed you!" 

"I have missed you too. How have you been?"

"I've been good, How about you?" I asking looking her over and see the light in her eyes are a little faded from when we were younger and her red fiery hair looks like it hasn't been washed in a couple days.

"I'm okay except when you left the pack I became the packs punching bag." My smile faltered from seeing her like how I was a couple years ago

"Come back with us, Arrow, You'll be safe and bring your little sister if you're afraid that she'll take your place."

"I don't know Blake will have a fit."

"Why it's not like you're his mate."

"That's true I'm not but he likes to abuse me in many different ways."

"You need to come with us so you can get away from all of that."

"I'll think about it."

"Okay." I nod and sit back down with Ash and Arrow stood infront of us.

"Is this your mate?" She asks me and I nod, "I'm Arrow." she put her hand out to shake Ash's.

"I'm Ashton. It's nice to meet you." He says without shaking her hand and I elbowed him to have him shake it and he still wouldn't. Arrow put her hand down.

"Prick." Arrow called him off.

"I'm sorry what?"

"You heard me, you aren't that great if you won't shake my hand."

"I try not to be a prick but you're filthy and I don't want to get dirt on me."

"Ash!" I gasp

"I'm sorry darling and she got you all dirty too, why don't we go in and get you cleaned up."

"Excuse me?" I can't believe my ears, "She's one of my friends!"

"I know sweetheart but she needs a shower and so do you, we don't want to have the baby get sick."

"I can't believe you just said that! Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean that I'll get a disease from my friend." We have gathered a crowd around us and Shade and Blake were among those people.

"You're pregnant?" Shade steps forward with his secondary mate.

"Yes she is now back off." Ash growls

"Is it mine?"

"No, Shade it isn't you can ease your worry." I storm off with Don, Arrow, Ashley, and Lacy right behind me. I had tears streaming down my face when I reached the house.

"Oh baby girl." Lacy says as she takes me into a hug.

"I can't believe the nerve of those three!" Don growls coming in second.

"Are you alright?" Ashley says, "I'm going to kick his ass!"

"No you can't." I cried, "I'm in love with him!" I crumple to the ground crying my heart out.

"Oh Alice." Lacy crouches down next to me, hugging me. Then all of them couch down and held me while I cried. We stayed like that till Ashley growled at the site of someone.

"Lacy get, Alice to her bedroom. I'll deal with him." Lacy nodded and Don helped me up not letting me see who it was, Lacy and Don helped me up the stairs. They helped me get ready for my bath. I feel mentally and physically weak. Once I was done I got dressed and went into the bedroom only to see Ashton there so I froze. 

"Alice, I'm so sorry." I started to cry again and he took a step towards me but there was a growl in the room and I look over from where it had come only to see Arrow there, 

"I told you, don't touch her unless she lets you." Arrow growls and I cried more. I need my mate Alice my wolf whimpers. I took a step closer to Ashton and then another till I was in his arms.

"I'm so sorry, baby girl." He whispers over and over again.

He took me to our bed and cuddled with me and I fell asleep in his arms crying more than I have in years, letting all the pain I have felt out and all the sadness I had held in.
