True mate

Chapter 18

"My word how I could I ever be his mate?" I ask Ash. We were in the woods hunting for something to feed on.

"I have no idea but remember that you're mine now." I smile at that. I smell a deer and run after it with Ash right on my tail. I catch it and take a bite out of it drinking it's crimson blood. I give the meat to Ash were he gobbled it up. He transformed back into his human form and hugged me.

I hugged him back and say, "I love you so much, Ash."

"I love you too baby girl." right then there was a snap of a twig and I was swung right behind Ash. His shoulders were tense and his eyes, I could tell, were murderous if they even touched me. The person came out of the woods only to knock Ash out with her magic.

"Alice, come with me. We need to talk."

"What about?"

"That you are my granddaughter."

"What?" I am shocked I thought that I met her when I was at the house, both of them. She shakes her head.

"I'm your actual grandmother, my darling. The one who you met was your step-grandmother." more shock rushes into me and then I look at Ashton whose on the ground and I kneel next to him and put his head in my lap.

"What did you do to him?" I ask knowing he should have woken up after just a minute.

"He's just sleeping so we can talk. You need to come with me, Alice."

"I don't want to."

"You need to!" her eyes turned red and then everything went black. I felt the leaves on my back then being picked up by a guy who I have no idea who it was. "Charles take her to the car I'll be there in a few. I have to take care of him."

I scream and right after I hear a growl, then everything goes silent.

Ashton's point of view.

I could feel Alice touch me which brought me back a little more to where I could hear them.

"He's just sleeping so we can talk. You need to come with me, Alice." I growl in my head.

"I don't want to." I hear her sweat voice fill my ears.

"You need to!" the women yells and then I felt Alice being ripped away from me. I growl completely but low enough to where the witch couldn't hear me. "Charles take her to the car I'll be there in a few. I have to take care of him." I then heard my angel scream.

I came to with my instincts to protect her. I growl menacingly and stand to my feet. I felt wings spread on my back and I was in the air. How dare they touch our mate! Chris growls inside my head. I can't believe that they knocked me out! Aden (my other wolf/angel) growls.

I look at the witch who has her eyes pinned onto me. I saw a flash of fear in her eyes as I flew towards her. She shot lightning at me but I dodged barely. I landed on my feet and throw a punch at her which hit her straight in the jaw. She fell to the ground and I ask "Why are you doing this?"

"She's my granddaughter who I haven't had anytime with and I know what she is."

My thoughts rushed but I dismissed the doubting ones of my mate, mainly from Aden who hasn't warmed up to Alice completely. "I am her mate so why didn't you just ask to see her?"

"Her parents wouldn't let me."

"That's because she was kidnapped and was raised in another pack." I didn't want to say anything about her being in a coven that is here for their own safety.

"Well she is mine till I allow her to come back to this reched land."

"I lost her once already, I'm not loosing her again."
