True mate

Chapter 12

I turn the knob in my hand and enter. Blake was fixing his tie and I notice that his pant zipper isn't up. He looks at me, "Oh, um, did you hear all that?" I close the door awkwardly

"Yes Blake I did but that's okay you're mate-less anyways. So anyways, I came here to tell you that my old vampire clan lives on your land now and wanted to warn you if you ever hurt or kill them you won't see the next day."

He growls, "I do not take kindly to threats even if they are from you."

I smile diligently, "I'm letting you know because it was your parents that killed my vampire family but some got away so if you or anyone in your pack touches or hurts them or even kill them, I will make sure that the rouges will defeat all of you with my help. I however won't let them kill the children and some of the women because believe it or not they showed me kindness."

Blake was in front of me in a flat second and slammed me into the wall next to the door, Great we're trapped between him and the wall. Kim spits out. The feeling of him against me felt like I needed to throw up. "You have no right to threaten me, little mate."

I laugh, "I might have been yours once but not anymore. Shade is the one I picked. Now get off me." I push him away from me easily. His eyes showed shock, "What?"

"You're stronger than me, How?"

"I'm a Royal. Haven't you been paying attention?" There was a knock at the door and the sent of that person told me that it was Candy. She was the one who bullied me the most and was in absolutely in love with Blake.

"Come in." Blake says annoyed

"Blake? Are you okay? Jess told me that you were a mess when she came in here earlier." Her annoying voice hasn't changed at all and neither has her love for Blake. She looks at him with concern written all over her face until her gaze landed on me, "Who's this?"

"I'm shocked, Candy, that you don't remember me considering." I gestured to Blake and me.

"Rebecca?" I nod, then she starts yelling at me (no shocker there), "How dare you come back! I thought we were free from you for good, you worthless peice of trash."

I stand there looking at her with no emotion on my face. She started calling me names and I just rolled my eyes. She quieted down when she heard Shade growl. "Are you done insulting the Royal Luna?" Shade looks at her and if looks could kill she'd be dead already.

"What do you mean 'Royal Luna?'"

Shade pulls me into him, "I mean she's my mate and I'm the Alpha of the Royal pack." Candy's face turns a bright red.

"Rebecca, I'm so sorry."

"Save your act, Candy and my name is Alice. I know how you can act and try and be budy up and everything til you get what you want."

"But..."

"No and if you try and kiss my mate, I won't hold back Kim or my friends for that matter." I grab Shade's hand and push by Candy. I looked back at Blake and say, "Remember what we talked about or else." I glare and then go outside with Shade.

"Rebecca! Get back here." I turn around and see a very pissed off Candy (pun intended). She charged at me.

And then I was knocked out, not by Candy but Shade.
