Chapter 24: Moonday

Tessa's P.O.V 

     I walked into my math class and sat right next to Tailah. Mr. McGregore walked in, his usual serious face on. 

"Good morning guys. Hopefully all the partying didn't brainwash all the information learned from last semester. Let's get straight to it, pull out your books and be ready to take notes." he said earning him a wine from the class.

"And you still ask why I hate him." Tailah said through mind link and rolled my eyes at her.

"At least I get to spend that awful class with you. Quiet a distraction to be honest." I heard Jaden say through mind link and caught him smirking at her.

"Please don't say anything dirty cause we can hear you." Tyler said and I couldn't contain the small laugh that escaped me. 

I hadn't realized that Mr.McGregore was reading until he cleared his throat and took of his glasses.

"Is there a problem Ms. Lightman?"

"Not at all sir." I said and quickly lowered my head in embarrassment. 

      After chemistry came history and boy was I hungry. After reading a very interesting chapter, I excused myself to the bathroom. After doing my business, I was washing my hands when the door opened. Eva for a second had an evil lopsided grin on her face. My wolf was awake in a second, growling in my head.

"Hey Tessa. How was your vacation?" 

"My vacation was great Eva, thanks for asking."

"Great. Ummm can you do me a favor?" she asked while batting her eyelashes.

If it's her neck that she wants broken, I can fix that real quick.

"What is it?"

"Oh nothing too complicated. Just stay away from what's mine."

"Sorry but, I don't recall ever having anything that belonged to you." I said and she growled before pinning me against the wall, cutting my respiration. 

"Now let me make something clear to you bitch. I know you and Tyler mated and I know that he marked you. But guess what? He will never bare your mark because your pathetic human self can't mark him. Now stay the fuck away from him because he had an eye for me even though I'm not his mate but you...he would've never looked twice your way if it wasn't for that stupid bond..."

I let out a growl, interrupting her. I could see my eyes glowing in her fearful ones. In the blink of an eye, she screamed when I grabbed her arm and broke it. I grabbed her by the neck and violently slammed her against the wall.

"Now you're gonna listen to me you bitch. Tyler is clearly not interested in you and what happened between you two before I came into his life doesn't matter. Have the decency of keeping your legs closed until you fine YOUR mate. You ow me respect and submission since I am your luna."

At those words she kicked me in the stomach causing me to let go of her. 

"I don't ow anything to some spoil daddy's girl trying to steal what's rightfully mine." she spat before throwing a punch and I ducked before slamming her head against the bathroom mirror.

I watch as her body fell limp against the tiled floor. A satisfied smirk played on my lips before a wave of pain hit me. I fell to my knees and held in a scream when I felt like all my bones were being broken one after the other.

"Tessa! Shit we need to get you out of here." I heard Tailah's voice say from the door. 

I wailed in pain and watched as my nails grew into claws. I looked up at my best friend with tearful eyes.
