Tyler's P.O.V
Valentine's Day was just around the corner. When I say just around the corner I mean in three days. The school hallways were decorated with hearts and love quotes. Tessa had been training really hard with Tailah everyday. She was learning fast and I'm pretty sure by now her wolf could beat even our strongest warrior. She had also finally made the date of the ceremony official.
The timing of the ceremony was perfect since it was to happen on the night before Valentine's Day. Which will be on a full moon. After our wolf will have mated, the ritual will be complete. I wanted our first Valentine's Day to be very romantic. My little angel deserved the best and I'd been planning for months what I should do for her. I show her my love every single day but for that night, I'll make it special.
As I sat in my office chair, a knock was heard on the door.
"Come in." I said, my eyes still on the pack reports I'd just received from Ethan.
When a tray of food was placed in front of me, I lifted my head and saw my mother smiling down at me.
"You missed diner."
"I apologies mom. I got lost in work and didn't see the time fly by."
"Don't worry, it's alright. You have a lot on your hands."
"That's what all Alpha's have to go through."
"You're wrong about that my child. No other Alpha has to deal with high school homework, pack business and on top of that you're company. That's a lot of things to take care of at just 18. Yet I watch you everyday juggle with all of them with ease." she said and I smiled at her.
She came around my desk and laid a kiss on my forehead.
"I'm proud of you, mon fils. I was proud of you since the day you were born and even though your father doesn't show it often, he always smiles when he talks about you. Tessa is very lucky to have been blessed by the Moon Goddess with you as her mate."
"I love you mom." I said and hugged her tightly.
"Gosh you're so tall, my big baby." I heard her say against my chest making me chuckle.
My mother and I have always been close. Just like I was with my father. The difference was I would come to my mother for advises about life and to talk about some of the mistakes I'd made, while I talked to my dad about pack stuff and how to be a better Alpha. I loved both of my parents dearly. They're the perfect example of what I want Tessa and I's relationship to look like twenty years from now.
After she left, I did my homework and FaceTimed Tessa since she was having a hard time with one of the word problems.
Tessa's P.O.V
I looked at my reflection in the full length mirror before me. I was wearing and off shoulder flowy white dress that covered my feet. My hair had been put in a nice braid crown and a few silver flower barrettes embellished it. My makeup was kept natural and simple and unlike my expectations, I wouldn't be walking down the aisle with a flower bouquet. My nerves were running wild. I took a deep breath trying to calm myself down as my palms moistened.
"Tessa, you okay in there? We're about to start." I heard Tailah say from the hallway.
"Yeah, I'm coming out now." I said before letting out a sigh and walking toward the bedroom door.
