"CALEN!" I jumped back as the scene shifted forcefully. Virgil was no longer in my arms but instead was standing there frozen in the rain. I looked around and tensed up as the realization hit me. This was Gardendale. This was... I spotted a familiar golden hilt and my blood froze over, seeing the body that laid beside it. "K-Kay..."

"Prince Vaeril." The world seemed to shake in tremendous fear at the very sound of the voice of the man holding that familiar hilt. His golden armor dingey and dirty, covered in blood. I refuse to see him as family.

"K-King D-Damian." Virgil stood there shaking in horror as the King threw the lifeless princess to the dirt like a used up rag.

"I was wondering when I might finally see the demon prince. How's it feel to be so... alone?" The King wiped his sword clean of Calen's blood and I cringed at how he tossed it into the flames beside him.

"You..." Virgil just could stop looking at his sister. "You killed her... Why?" The king laughed as his remaining knights surrounded them both. They were boxing him so he couldn't escape... He didn't seem to care though. He just stood there, head down, as the king laughed.

"The Witch was bound to die eventually. After all, she had a demon in her tools now didn't she?" I could see Virgil flinch and I frowned. The called her a witch because she was the one kept Virgil stable. It was always the two of them. You never saw one without the other. "Now all that's left is you."

"You're right." The king faltered a bit as Virgil laughed. He looked up with this huge smile as the knights go a bit closer. I frowned seeing how their skin began to crake and brake showing the black against their paling skin. The King tensed up only lightly as all the knight held their swords out at them. I could see the desperation in the king. His face was white and his hair slicked slightly as Virgil smiled dropped to a neutral gaze. "She did have a demon. And I am alone..." He looked around seeing how the shadows began to cling to the knights. "... unfortunately for you."

"Monster..." The Kings stumbled a bit as Virgil turned back to him with narrowed eyes. The Knights started to advance past Virgil, grabbing the king and holding him tightly as the others held their swords out in an obvious threat. "Turning my men into hollows?!"

"No. Not hollows." He smiled sadly as one of the Knights pulled their sword back and I tensed up. "We don't make hollows." The knight swung hard slicing the kings head clean off ignoring his comrades that also perished in the swing. Virgil just sighed as the knight fought to 'take care' of all the rest of the remaining knight. I watched as Virgil knelt down beside the head of the fallen king with a frown.

"We don't make hollows. But I can... make something similar. You see Hollows are undead. There created by the person's sick desire for power and immortality. There are so many ways to become one. One just simply being..." The head started to move and Virgil frowned grabbing the kings golden sword. "...not having any light, to begin with. No light means... no soul. No soul means an empty shell." The body began to stir as the head shifted about much like I would imagine a zombie would.

"What I do is steal the light from a living person. All of it... They're much more susceptible to darker thoughts that way. You know, thoughts like... What a horrible king? He killed so many mercilessly. He'd throw me into the fire without a second thought. So heartless... Best to kill him before he kills me. Thoughts like that." Virgil held the sword up above the head and I frowned seeing the tears finally start to build up.

"Without any light theres nothing to tell them not to follow those thoughts. Without any light... they're no better than you. Better to end there suffering quickly than to let them turn into hollows don't you think?" Virgil pushed the blade deep into the head and I reeled back hearing the blood-curdling scream it made. "Being a hollow... just doesn't seem a good enough punishment for you. Why don't you just go rot in hell? Let the devil do his job." The last remaining knight returned only for Virgi to send a dark orb through its chest. It fell fast the then the tears from his face. Every knight that attack the village was dead. The king... dead, turned, and then dead again. Virgil looked over at his sister with a sad smile before simply turning to leave. The last thing I saw was a small blue flower being thrown back only to land in her lap.

"Virgil." He was gone. I was standing there as the word melted into the black. "Virgil?" I couldn't hear him at all. I was just standing there in the dark and silence. "Virgil?!"

"Princy." I spun around to see Virgil staring at me with this look I had never seen from him before. The type of look that sent a shiver down your back. The kinda preditor looks a prey with... The kind that said I was his to do as he pleased with.

"Virge..." He slowly started getting closer and closer until somehow I managed to reach a wall. He just smiled as he boxed me in with his arms. "Virgil, what..."

"You sent me down all those memories. Made me relieve so many... that really hurt, Princy." He leaned in closer letting his cool breath hit my neck making me shiver. "It hurt so much."

"I'm sorry Virgil, but I had to." I went to push him a bit because he was very close but he just took my hand and held them against the wall. He laughed a bit as he nuzzled into me and I tensed up. I had to have been blushing, I mean the man I loved was... well he was REALLY close! "V-Vir..."

"Shh. Princy. You put me through hell." His voice dropped to a growl that vibrated his chest making me blush even more. "I feel bad. I don't want to feel bad. I don't want to..."

"You can't use me to push those feelings away." He frowned as I tried to push him again only for him to kiss my neck."Virgil!" It sent jolts down my back as his lips moved about my collar.

"It's your fault. You should fix it." I couldn't help but sigh into him as his lips met mine. I pulled away only making him frown as I shot him this look. "Make it go away."

"You have to feel it, Virgil. You can't ignore the pain." He pushed against me a bit too hard and I tensed up feeling him press up against my legs. "V-Virgil!"

"Make it go away." His voice was raspy as his hands moved to my chest. "It hurts. Please..." He grabbed my shirt and next thing I knew I was being slammed up against a bed. He sat there on my lap staring at me with this desperate look it broke my heart. "I don't want to hurt. I don't want to feel it. I want it to go away." He leaned into me again pressing himself against my legs and forcing them to separate. I couldn't breathe. The heat was stifling considering his touch was like ice. "It's your fault. You... You did this to me." I frowned as he gripped my shirt tightly pushing up to plant kisses up and down my neck. "You can make better. You can..." I wrapped my arms around him tightly and felt him break. Tears soaked into my clothes as we just laid there together. "Why? Why won't you..."

"You need to let yourself feel, Virgil." I whispered softly into ears as the only sound he made was heart-wrenching sobs. "You have to."

"It hurts." HIs voice was dripping with pain as his body shook. All that pain... all the grief and sadness... It was all coming out at once. "I-It hurts... It... Why?" His voice cracked as he held on to me even tighter as if afraid I would just disappear. "Why does everyone I love leave me?"
