Theron frowned.

If only he knew...

Something wasn't, Theron knew about that for sure. Every Immortal Camper held a look of loss and regret in their eyes, not the anger and hatred Theron saw when he was banished. Something was not right. But before Theron could think about this, Chiron spoke up,

"We will further look into this, but everybody should try to get some rest, Hero's Day is tomorrow, and I believe that Frank and Hazel are presenting their quest to free Thanatos?"

Frank and Hazel nodded "Hey, Reyna," Hazel said, turning to the Pontifex Maximus,  "Would you like to join us in storytelling?"

Reyna looked surprised, "I don't think that I would be good for this...I don't play a major role in this quest,"

"Are you serious?" Frank exclaimed, "Reyna, you were the Praetor back then, you were terrifying and you did play a major role in the quest, without you we never would have gotten help from the-" Frank was cut off abruptly.

"SPOILERS!" yelled Julia and Estelle at the same time, covering their ears.

The others laughed.

"And Reyna, can you do it? Pretty please?" Julia pleaded, bringing out the baby seal eyes. It must run in the family.

The daughter of Bellona sighed, "Very well, I will help story tell tomorrow,"

Julia and Estelle squealed and ran out of the room together.

Piper sighed, "They remind me so much of Percy,"

"Yeah, they really do," Grover bleated.

Grover suddenly shot up, "Oh my gods,"

"What?" Annabeth asked, leaning forwards.

"My empathy link, I can feel it. It's faint, but I can feel it," he said, closing his eyes, concentrating.

The others shot up, eyes wide. Theron silently cursed.

Percy?

Theron stayed silent.

Percy, I know you are there. Let me expla-

What is there to explain?! Theron shouted, causing Grover to fall out of his seat.

Percy, please. Everyone at Camp was-

Save it, Grover. It doesn't matter, I'm long gone.

Percy, you don't understand-

Of course, I don't understand! You backstabbed me and threw me away. Leave me alone. Break the empathy link.

Percy, please...

Grover, Theron said quietly, Get rid of the empathy link.

The satyr didn't respond.

Theron snapped back into reality, he had completely forgotten about his empathy link. He wasn't able to remove it because both people have to agree to remove it, he could only suppress it. Meanwhile, Grover slowly stood up, tears running down his face.

"Grover, what happened?" Annabeth asked gently, standing up to comfort him.

"I was able to talk to him," he said quietly.

"Well, what did he say?" Clarisse voiced the thoughts of many Campers.

"He was mad- no pissed," Grover looked up, "He wanted me to break the empathy link,"
