Hinata ran until she found herself couldn't run anymore. She ran for many hours, she had to take a shelter, she had to rest for tonight.
Hinata found a cave, she settled inside, she picked up some fruits, from the forest, and eaten.
However hinata felt nauseous and started vomiting.
She felt herself dizzy somehow.
She needed to rest. So she decided to drift somehow to sleep, and continue her journey.
Hinata opened her eyes to see a loud growl and snorts, she opened her eyes and found herself surrounded by beasts.
Hinata stood up, and took few steps back, her Byakugan was still somehow sealed, but she had some chakra, to activate her gentle fists.
As the beasts attacked, hinata tried to kick them away, but the were many, one had bite her thighs, hinata screamed in agony, as the flesh was tearing.
She pushed the beast away, but other attacked with its claw, slashing her back.
Hinata screamed, but all of sudden, she found the beasts being attacked and gulped by sand, she found a hand grabbing hers, pulling her out from the sea sand, out of the cave.
Hinata looked up, to find those emerald green eyes, and redhead.
"HI..hinata?" Gaara asked puzzled
"Gaaraa.... gaaraaaa..." hinata wrapped her arms around gaara in a tight embrace, clutching his shirt, and sobbing quietly.
Gaara's mind was puzzled, he wrapped his arms around hinata who she was shivering and sobbing hysterically, he tightened the embrace.
"Whats wrong hinata..." he asked worriedly.
He looked at his palms which was soaked in her blood now.
"You are bleeding hinata, lets go get some help, konoha is near" he said as he held her body up, carrying her
"No no no no no please no konoha please take me to the sand village please please..." hinata begged and panicked hysterically.
Gaara was shocked, what happened to his pure beautiful best friend.
"Okay... come lets go home" he said with a smile and carried her up, heading to the sand village.
Gaara walked through the forests, until he reached his village, his mind was thinking back and forth, what happened to hinata.
He took care of her wounds but still she needs medical care, she soon had fever due to the bites and slashes of the beasts.
Gaara ran to the nearest hospital, so they took care of the heiress.
When hinata fluttered her eyes open, she found gaara by her side, holding her hands.
"Welcome back... hina-chan" he smiled genuinely at her.
Hinata's eyes softened and tears filled them, she pulled up and hugged gaara so tight, she felt warmth, something she couldn't feel long time ago.
"What happened hinata... tell me whats wrong... it makes me sick to see you cry and hurt..." gaara said as he hugged her back, hinata was one of the few who treated gaara good during the academy, she always gave him smiles and food, she even soothed him once when he was spoken to as a monster.
He came fond of hinata, she treated him good, when everyone was seeing how bad he is.
Its a debt he could never repay.
So none hurts his pure best friend.
Hinata after sobbing and hiccuping, she contained her self, and started telling gaara about everything.
How her wedding with naruto was off, what sasuke's had done, and they blamed her.
Gaara felt immense anger, how could naruto be so naive, they should have believed the innocent hinata.
But as always naruto had always taken sasuke's side.
Gaara cupped hinata's cheeks and wiped her tears with his thumbs.
He kissed her forehead and pulled her back into a hug.
"Listen hina..you can't stay here, they'll find you...you stay with me until we break the seal, and wounds heal. And i'll take you to a far village, they won't track you, and he won't come and threaten you..." gaara said as he stroke her hair.
Hinata nodded.

A week passed in the sand village, hinata stayed with gaara, he protected her, and tried to break the seal on her Byakugan but couldn't, only sasuke can break it, or a person with a sharingan which leaves the sole survivor uchiha.
Her wounds started to heal, however hinata felt extremely sick this week, she had morning sickness every single day, she used to vomit alot, her breasts hurt, and she eaten alot, she hated smells, and loved to sniffle nicotine to subside her nausea.
Gaara was so worried sick about her, so he decided to take her to the doctor, hinata was stubborn she didn't want to go, but she complied in the end.
And something unexpected was said to her,
"Congratulations Gaara sama, hinata is pregnant..." the doctor said and hinata fainted.
The cursed child, the fruit of a non consensual sex.
The child that will always bond her to the nightmare.
Hinata had a panic attack to find gaara holding her hands.
"Hina..hina..look at me...look at me... breath...breath, in and out in and out" he said as hinata complied.
"Gaara..gaara kun i can't i can't have this child... i can't " she cried again and again.
"Hinata chan, please breath... please... we will figure it out... calm down" he assured her as he pulled her to his embrace.
