Today at work I had an awful day.

To say I had the worlds worst boss was an understatement. He was a complete nightmare.

Everything I did seemed to piss him off or it was just wrong in some way. I was afraid he was close to firing me, but luckily today wasn't the day.

I trudged up the stairs of the apartment almost out of breath from scaling them.

I looked across the hall to Monica and Chandlers apartment wondering if the rest of the crew was over there.

But I was too angry and sad to go see so I just went back to Joey and I's apartment.

I walked inside and of course the apartment was trashed. Beer bottles and pizza boxes were littered everywhere.

I didn't mind that much though. Joey was reclined back on his chair watching Baywatch and as soon as he heard the door close he spun around on his chair to face me.

I grit my teeth and narrowed my eyes at him. I was upset and I wanted to be in a bad mood. I didn't want Joey cheering me up or making me laugh.

"Hey (y/n)." He greeted.

"Don't do it. You better not do it." I raised my eyebrows and pointed my finger sternly at him.

"What?" He asked with a laugh and of course that made him crack a beautiful goofy smile.

Instantly I melted and it made me smile too, "Joey." I cried and covered my face as I set my purse down on the table.

"Whaaaat?" He whined and got up walking towards me.

Still I looked down at the ground and covered my face so I wouldn't have to look at him and see him smile, because his smile lights up the world.

"Hey... (y/n) what's wrong?" He asked and I felt him grip my shoulders softly. I could tell he was staring down at me waiting for me to answer.

Finally I looked up and met his soft understanding eyes. A small sigh escaped my lips.

"Nothing Joey I just had a really bad day at work and I'm not in a good mood okay." I told him.

He frowned and rubbed my shoulders up and down, "Well hey how about we order some pizza and watch a movie. I'll even let you pick." He grinned.

That grin. Ugh, it would be the death of me. I smiled back at him. "I don't know." I shyed away from him and tucked my hair behind my ears.

"Yes, come on." He grabbed my jacket and pulled it down off my arms and then hung it up on the rack.

"Mhm fine." I grabbed a couple cold beers from the fridge.

We walked over to the recliners and grabbed the phone so that we could order some pizza from a local restaurant.

Joey sat down and I sat down on his lap and curled up like a baby, my head resting in the crook of his neck.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked and rubbed his hand up and down my thigh.

"It's just my boss." I handed him my beer to open.

Like the pro he was he popped the cap off with his fingers and handed it back. "I'm real sorry."

"It's okay I'm in a much better mood now."

He grinned and looked down at me. "Why's that?"

His contagious smile made me smile as well. "Because I'm here with you. And you make me happy."

"You make me happy too." Joey smiled and we both leaned in to kiss each other passionately.

I smiled against his lips and wrapped my arms around his shoulders, my hands gripped through his dark hair.

Joey cupped my cheek with his hand and brushed my hair out of my face while his other hand ran up and down my thigh.

The kiss went on for a several moments and only got hotter by the second. He made me forget about all my troubles of the day.

Slowly I pulled away from the heated kiss, my hands placed on his chest. "Oh Joey." I grinned and ran my other hand back through his hair.

Joey smirked and moved his hands down to hold my waist. "Wanna screw around."

I rolled my eyes playfully, "No way Tribbiani."

"Awh please."

"No I wanna just cuddle with you baby." I nuzzled into his side.

He was silent for a minute and just looked at me. "How you doin?" He smirked and raised his eyebrows.

"Joey!" I laughed and blushed red like a fire truck as I shoved him playfully in the shoulder.

We went back to a casual cuddling position on the chair. He held me in his embrace all night as we watched Weekend at Bernie's, ate pizza, drank beer and made out.

So the night did end up turning out to be pretty damn good and all because of Joey's dumb million dollar smile.
