"Alright girls, take five! You are not allowed to go home until this routine is perfectly executed," their instructor barked before leaving the room.
The moment the door slammed close, they all felt their knees weaken as all members collapsed on the floor, trying to catch their breaths.
"Yah..." Sana groaned as she wiped away the cascading sweat from her forehead. "I don't think I can dance anymore..."
"Tell me about it," Nayeon and Dahyun tiredly said in unison while the former began to massage her legs. "I think my legs are becoming jelly," Nayeon whined and a huff came from Jeongyeon as she began to help with the massaging. "Instructor-nim probably had a bad day. I honestly believe that we've managed to execute the steps pretty well earlier and-"
A gasp from Tzuyu earned their attentions and they all turned to see her looking at the clock. "Mina-unnie, didn't you say earlier that you have a dinner date with Y/N-unnie tonight?"
Mina's heart suddenly plummeted before she quickly stood to get her phone and call you. She had already cancelled on you twice before and dread slowly settled in her gut knowing you'll be disappointed if she cancels out again.
"Minari?" You answered after a couple of rings, the adoration in your tone evident and it made her softly smile as some of her fatigue slowly ebbed away. "Jagi? I'm sorry but I might be running a little late tonight due to-"
A resigned sigh from you interrupted her and she could feel you rubbing the back of your neck dejectedly. "..to practice?"
"Yes....I'm so sorry, Y/N," she meekly whispered before biting her lip, patiently waiting for your response as Mina closed her eyes to avoid succumbing to the guilt that's eating her up.
"I can feel you beating yourself up again,you know?" you murmured softly, knowing your girlfriend all too well before you chuckled lightly, "How about this? We eat in instead of going to some shmancy fancy restaurant? I was going to propose doing this next week but it looks like it's happening now."
She sniffed lightly, crippling your heart for a bit before you felt her slightly perking up. "...Really?"
"Really. I'll cook your favorites or whatever is it that I know you love," you confirmed and Mina felt like it took a load of weight from her shoulders. "Thank you, Jagiya. I lo-"
"Back to places, ladies!" Their instructor ordered as they marched inside, which made you roll your eyes from your side of the call as you shook your head, "Looks like you're needed babe. I love you too, okay? See you."
"Bye Y/N," she smiled before ending the call and returning to place.
"We heard it all~" Momo teased from beside her which made Mina turn to her other members and saw them grinning knowingly.
