CLEO LARSEN WAS A VERY independent woman who didn't need a man in her life. That's what she though at least, until she met Lando Norris at the Australian Grand Prix 2019. She had never believed in love at first sight, but that changed when she saw him standing there on the grid in his orange and blue overalls ready to jump in the car. She had been seated in one of the grandstands on the main straight and he had caught her eye. And then when he turned his head and looked at her, her insides melted. He was about to put on his balaclava but he stopped when he saw her, sitting there in the grandstand, surrounded by what felt like a million other people, but her face lit up like the sun in the crowd and he was instantly drawn to it. Their eyes were fixed on each other long enough for a team member to remind Lando that the race was about to start and that he had to get into the car right now. He looked at the member of his team before his eyes landed on hers again and she blushed. Then he had to go in the car, and Cleo was just one of the many thousands of people watching, again.

After the race, where he had finished 12th, she saw him again. He didn't have his racing suit on, but was now wearing normal attire. She had been standing near a bus stop near the paddock entry/exit, and that's where she saw him walk by. He saw her as well while he kept walking. He almost walked into a lamppost and Cleo laughed a little at his silly action. He looked very surprised himself and looked towards her again to see if she were still there, and she were. He waved at her and she blushed a little before waving back to him in a shy manner. He was definitely trying to play it cool although he was blushing just as hard as she was. And that's when he walked towards her and it all started. Ever since they had had a long-distance relationship as he lived in Woking in the UK, and she lived in Los Angelis in the States. Cleo had attended the grand prix in Monaco but for the next few months she had to stay in the US, as she was filming a new movie.

She had been so busy with filming and Lando had been busy with races and preparing for the upcoming races, that they had barely spoken for the last few weeks. She was on-set for up to 15 hours a day and barely had time to do anything else but sleep in her free time. She was using all her energy on the movie because it was very likely to be her breakthrough. She was playing Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow in the new movie Black Widow, which was going to premiere later that year. It wasn't until she had a longer lunch break one day, that she noticed how long it had been since speaking with Lando. As she was eating her lunch she felt her stomach contort in an unpleasant way and it was all caused by the longing for Lando. She missed him. God, she missed him so much. Her appetite was completely gone as the feelings took over her body and she was suddenly in a hurry to find her phone. Her hands were shaking but she managed to type her password and the phone unlocked. She found Lando under her contacts and didn't think about how late it must have been where he was, when she called him. It was taking him forever to pick up and she was whispering under her breath to pick up.

"Please pick up, please, please. Lando, please pick up your phone." He didn't pick up. She wanted to cry but she didn't as she was surrounded by a lot of her coworkers and she didn't want them to see her cry. At least not real crying. She sat in the cafeteria for around 10 minutes before her phone started vibrating in her hand. Cleo turned it around and it was Lando wanting to FaceTime her.

"Hey Cleo," he said, his voice filled with sleep and he looked like he had just woken from the dead.

"Lando," she said as her voice was breaking in her throat.

"What's wrong, babe? Is everything alright? You do know it's like 3 am here in England, right?" the last sentence was said with a grin on his lips. Oh how she missed those lips and how he would kiss her with those perfect lips for hours and hours.

"I'm sorry," she said and tears started forming in her eyes. She wasn't one to show a lot of emotions but Lando could always make her feel every single feeling but with much more intensity.

"It's okay babe. Why are you crying though? Seriously is something wrong?" It was clear in his voice that he was worried about her. He always was.

"No, I just wanted to hear your voice, and I miss you so so so much."

"Oh baby, you know you can call me whenever you want. Even if it's in the middle of the night. I will always be here with you, and I miss you too. My bed doesn't feel the same when you're not lying here next to me. And my apartment feels like a stranger's house when I can't hear you laugh echoing though the hallways." He was also getting emotional and she was downright crying now. The tears were falling down her cheeks and landing on the manuscript that was on the table in front of her. His words had made her miss him even more.

"I want you. I need you. I miss your touch and your warmth. I think I'm going to ask for a break so I can go to Europe to be with you."

"I miss you too, but are you sure you can do that and do you want that? This movie means everything to you."

"This movie is important but it's not everything, you are. You are everything that matters to be and the only thing that matters to me."

"You're my everything as well baby girl. How am I supposed to sleep again when you just said all of those things?"

"I'm booking a flight for tomorrow. I don't care if I can take a break. I'm coming to you, be ready?"

"I'm always ready for you," he said before ending the call.
