YOU WERE HIS FUTURE, but he lost you in his past. You could never compare to her. You always wondered if he would notice, if you disappeared, and then when you did, you got your answer. He didn't notice at all.
He stole your love, and you watched him as he gave it to somebody else. Her. It was always her. It was only when she wasn't there, that you were good enough for him. Tat you were the one, he called baby. Only when she wasn't there to fulfil his needs.
You knew he couldn't love you. You knew he wasn't able to, no matter how hard he tried.
You would never be good enough for him. Never worth enough. But somehow she always was. She was a model, perfect in very way possible. You had never been particularly self conscious, but Lewis had made you. He was supposed to cherish you and love every piece of you, even your flaws, but he didn't. He couldn't see past your flaws and imperfections.
He was practically hooked on the look, and not just his own. Constantly complaining about how your imperfections could and would ruin his image. He was five time world champion with a fashion line, he had to date someone as perfect ad himself.
You were done with the pain, he had caused you. You didn't look back. Didn't look at your regrets. Didn't look at him.
All over your body were scars reminding you of him and his curse, but now you were free. The wounds were finally healing. He wanted the best, and that wasn't you, but it was alright. He could have his 'perfect' models on his private plane. He could do whatever he wanted, as long as he didn't cause you hurt anymore.
You were on the other side. Better. Wearing the biggest smile in months. Years. And you weren't sorry.
And that's when he came running back to you. Like a puppy being left out in the cold. The dolls couldn't see his imperfections, so when he lost, he came back to you. But it was over, you weren't his anymore. You flaunted him your biggest smile, wide and proud, and shut the door in his face.
