To the public eye, they were just friends

To the public eye, they were just friends. They had been friends forever but friendship sometimes takes a turn. Sometimes for the worse and sometime for the better, like in their case. Their friendship had flourished into something a bit more intimate than they first wanted to acknowledge. But late nights with plenty of alcohol had tested both of their abilities to control themselves around each other and the night had ended in sloppy kisses in the back of a cap driving them back to the hotel. They both wanted to take it even further but the alcohol was starting to wear off and the shyness came back in them, causing them to sleep in separate rooms.

But it was all very different now. They were done pretending that nothing had happened and were happy to share the love for each other. But to the public, they were still just friends, even though what happened in the bedroom would prove otherwise.

It was a quiet summer morning in Monaco, and the warm breeze was flowing in though the opened windows. Charles was always the first of the two to wake up in the morning. He was a morning person, where as Pierre would rather sleep in until noon, but Charles didn't want that. Not that he didn't want Pierre to get what he wanted, but more because he wanted to get something out of the day instead of staying in and not going anywhere.

Pierre's bare back was facing him and he scooted a little closer to wrap his long limbs around the frenchman's torso. His face was in the crook of the other's neck and he started kissing the tender skin in an attempt to wake up his sleeping boyfriend. The kisses were soft and delicate and way too pleasant for Pierre to be able to wake up, so Charles decided to start nibbling at the skin instead and even though he knew it would leave marks, that Pierre had to cover later, he didn't care. He was biting at his neck but soothing the pain by placing his tongue flat out over the marks that he had just left.

"Hmm" Pierre breathed out as he stretched his arms in front of him. He rolled over at saw his beautiful boyfriend looking at him with loving eyes.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty," Charles said with a smile on his lips.

"Sleep's important," Pierre answered before getting a little closer to Charles. They were as close to each other as they could get and Pierre closed the last gap between them in a kiss. Pierre would kiss Charles's lips all day if he had could. They were so soft on his, yet still dominant when Charles wanted to take control over Pierre. "Your lips are so soft. I could kiss them all day," Pierre said sleepily after pulling away.

"Is that so?" Charles said with raised eyebrows, almost not believing what his boyfriend had just told him.

"Yes, they're like pillows on mine, so soft," Pierre said between the pecks he was placing on Charles' lips.

"Are they still soft when I'm doing this?" Charles asked before placing his lips back on Pierre's, but this time he was playful and pulled on the frenchman's lips with his teeth. Pierre could do nothing but nod in response as they were quickly caught up in the kisses. Pierre was climbing on top of his lover to straddle him while their lips were still connected. Even after hundreds and thousands of kisses, they both still managed to create sparks when kissing. And the butterflies kept flying in their stomachs.

Pierre was sliding his hands up and down Charles' body, but the monegasque had to stop it there as his stomach started growling.

"We'll have to wait until later. I'm hungry," Charles said and could already see the pout on Pierre's lips. "I'm sorry, but my food is just as important as your sleep." Pierre knew he was right, but Charles was literally always hungry. When they went out for dinner, Charles would always order dessert but somehow still be hungry enough to eat half of Pierre's dessert.

They went up from the bed and walked into the kitchen where they prepared breakfast for the two of them, but it wasn't without a lot of kissing breaks.
