after all of the fights last year, they finally had time to talk about things. max had invited daniel to go to hockenheim with him in the private jet and daniel had happily agreed.
they were sitting on the plane and max had gotten someone else on the plane to take picture of them which he had posted on his instagram with the caption 'reunited'.
max kept looking at the picture a bit longer then necessary but he couldn't help it. daniel's smile was intoxicating to him. it was making his knees weaker than ever before.
"whatcha looking at?" daniel said from behind max.
"oh nothing. just the picture i posted."
"it's a good picture. you look nice. hot even."
"did you just call me hot?" max asked confused. he thought they were over.
"i've done it before so i guess i can you it now as well?"
"yeah, yeah of course." max thought a bit before continuing. "you look so cute."
"i'm not cute." daniel said with a frown, but it wasn't a real frown.
"yeah, you are." max said and ruffled daniel's messy curls, something max had missed doing and daniel as well.
max kept his hand in daniel's hair while daniel spoke up again. "i missed this. the flights. the hairplaying. everything."
"i missed it too. especially your curls, your hair is so soft." max let out a chuckle and daniel joined him.
"what do you think about giving it another try?"
"us?" daniel nodded. "i'd love to."
daniel didn't answer, but leaned closer to place a tender kiss on max' lips instead, another thing he had missed.
