Sometimes....it hurts.

"I'm really sorry about your mom." Jay said as they walked down by a lake.

"Camille. Not my mom."

"Right."

"So how's basketball goin?" She asked placing her hands in her jean pockets.

"Um I don't know your boyfriend doesn't even want me there."

"Ex boyfriend." Erin said holding her finger up.

"Man I'm just messing up today aren't I?" He said as they both laughed.

"This your car?" She asked as Jay opened the car door.

"Yep, after you milady." He said as ahe got in.

"Where are we gonna go?" She asked curiously.

"Somewhere relaxing." He said as she stayed silent.

Jay pulled the car up in the parking lot and Erin had fell asleep, he didn't even wanna wake her but he did. He touched her shoulder and moved her around a little bit. She jumped but woke up immediately causing Jay to laugh.

"The beach?" She said looking confused.

"Yeah come on."

"Wait, did I like fall asleep like in a deep sleep?" She asked.

"I don't know." Jay said confused.

"Here's how you know, did I have my mouth open."

"Maybe just a little." Jay said starting to laugh, pinching his fingers together.

"That's next level if you have seen me with my mouth open while I'm sleeping." Erin said closing the car door and going into the sand on the beach.

"Well I mean it's probably not that different from when you talk at school, I mean you sure do talk alot." Jay said.

Erin laughed and chased him down the beach and into the water. He grabbed her and threw her over his shoulder and they laughed as he ran into the water while she was still on top of him. "Okay! Put me down I'm not prepared to get in the water!" She screamed slapping his back.

"Okay! Okay!" Jay said putting her down in the sand.

"Gosh!" She said laughing.

They sat in the sand and talked until the sunset at least that was his plan.

They talked about random stuff for a while.

5 minutes later.

"What do you think about hospitals?" Jay asked her.

"I hate hospitals." Erin said popping a grape into her mouth.

"How come?" He asked.

"Because when I was little I spent a lot of time there." She said looking towards the water.

"Why I mean what happened? Your mom?"

"My mom's friend gave me drugs, I was only 11 months and social services was there with me, I hate talking about it sorry."

"No, that's perfectly fine I understand if you don't wanna talk about it." Jay said.

"What about you? What's your take on hospitals?"

"My sister died in one so not a big fan either."

"Wow, I'm so sorry Jay."

"Thanks, but it was a while ago I'm good."

"Sometimes I wanna just scream. And let all of the anger and pain out." Erin said eating more fruit.

"So do it." Jay said shrugging his shoulders.

"What?" Erin said laughing.

"Scream! Scream as loud as you can!" Jay said throwing his hands up.

Erin shook her head and laughed, "I can't."

Jay nodded his head and Erin looked at him. He looked back and handed her his jacket. She took it. But then stood up and said "We should be getting back."

She slipped on her flip flops and grabbed the fruit, she went to Jay's car and they drove off. They stayed silent most of the way but Erin finally spoke up.

"Sorry if I'm acting weird alot has been going on with Kelly and Camille it's been hard really."

"It's fine Erin."

They pulled up to Erin's house, and he walked her up to the door.  "Well this is me, clearly."

He put his head down and laughed quietly "Yeah we should do this more."

"Sure." She said smiling.

"Do you want me to walk you in?" He asked hoping she would say yes.

"I think I'm good." She said handing him his jacket.

He nodded his head, grabbing the jacket. She opened her door and looked back. "I'll see ya Kelly."

He looked at her. Did she really just call me Kelly?

"Jay! I mean Jay! Night!" She said closing the door fast. She leaned on the door completely embarrassed. She went to the kitchen and saw a note on the fridge.

Went to Ohio to tell Camille's family. Be back in 2 days.

Erin went to her room, sleeping there all alone was something she didn't want to do.

But there was something she had to do, because she wasn't sure but she needed to know. Erin had put on a brave face for days, lying to Rachel about Hank and Camille going to court. She never lied to her friends or Kelly but she wasn't sure what else to do. Camille was the only one who knew. But that wasn't enough.

She needed Kelly. So she texted him.

Can you come over, I need to talk to you?

She sent the text, hoping he would reply fast but he didn't.

1 hour later.

Kelly knocked on Erin's open bedroom door and Erin was crying at that time.

"What your texting my phone now? Not ready to let go?" Kelly said standing outside her door.

Erin didn't answer him, she just looked at him and kept crying.

"Hey Erin what happened are you okay?" Kelly said rushing to her side. He put his hand on her thigh and she looked at him still in tears.

"Erin?" He asked confused.

"I'm pregnant Kel."
