Erin walked the halls alone. All day long. Rachel went to New York for a few days to see her grandma. Erin saw Kelly and Thea walking the halls, hand in hand laughing at whatever they we're telling each other. But she walked alone with no one at all. Just her. Maybe if she got people's attention that would make people talk to her more.
She went to her locker and grabbed her cheer clothes out technically she wasn't supposed to put them on till practice hours but she didn't care anymore. She went into the bathroom and changed her clothes. Her mini skirt and crop top cheer outfit. With her white sneakers and her hair in a high ponytail. She walked out of the bathroom and walked down the halls, catching everyones attention. Guys we're cheering and whistling, the girls were saying hi to her. It was like she was back to her old, fun self.
She grabbed a random guy who she had no idea who it was. But she grabbed his arm and pinned him against the locker she kissed him for 3 minutes almost. Then felt a tug on her arm. She stopped kissing the biy and turned her head. Kelly and Jay we're standing next to her and they pulled her off.
"What are you doing?" Kelly asked her concerned.
"Why do you care?" Erin said about to kiss the guy again.
"Go! Get outta here." Kelly said to the boy.
"Erin, this isn't you." Jay said making Erin angry.
"Ms Linsday!" The principal yells.
"Principal." She said folding her hands and putting them down to her side.
"Cheer clothes are for cheer practice not attention wise and not to just walk around in." She said to Erin.
"I don't see what the problem is." Erin said innocently.
"Ms. Linsday I know you have been through alot this month but that doesn't give you a right to do what you want."
Erin scoffed and laughed quietly.
"Ms. Linsday I won't ask you to change again. Take the cheer clothes off."
Then Erin had an idea, she said to take the clothes off so she had to listen. "Fine." Erin said with a smirk on her face.
Erin took her shirt off and now all that she had on was her mini skirt and her black bra. "Happy?" She said looking back at the principal. Erin walked out as everyone was looking at her, gasping and laughing but she didn't care anymore she wanted people to know that too.
She got in her car and left school not going back for the rest of the day. She didn't care what anyone thought about her.
The principal called Hank and Camille and told them that was her last warning or she WOULD be suspended. Maybe that would be good for her.
Kelly and Jay were getting along somewhat but they still had their differences. After practice Jay was planning on asking Kelly what's been going on lately. "Hey Kelly! Wait up!" Jay said running up to Kelly.
"Yeah?" Kelly asked.
"So Erin went a little crazy today, what has been going on with her, I mean first the bus ride, and then practice and now this?"
"She's fine, just things with her family." Kelly said continuing to walk.
"Well Thea and Rachel were talking and I heard them say that you and her we're in the same situation."
"Jay! It doesn't matter man, just stay out of it!" Kelly said getting into his car.
Maybe I should just stay out of it.
I need to talk to Erin.
Jay drove to Erin's house at 9:00 he saw no cars in the driveaway except for her's. Which meant she was most likely home. He knocked on the door and he saw her walk down the stairs with her hair pinned back a little, and she was wearing an undershirt and sweatpants. She looked through the screen door and saw him standing there she stared at him looking upset but she answered the door immediately, wondering why he was at her house at night.
She opened the door and felt the wind blow onto her arms, it was so cold. She crossed her arms looking at Jay still confused as to why he was there. "Um hi." She said laughing.
"Hello."
"What are you--"
"I just needed to see you, I really couldn't wait."
"Oh o--okay um do you wanna come in?" She said moving out of the doorway.
"No." He said standing still.
"Okay? What do you need?"
Still standing still and really nervous he closed his eyes and smiled "I like you, like alot and yeah. But I don't know how else to say it." He said still standing still.
Erin scoffed and chuckled she looked at him super confused, so he continued. "The way you light up when you cheer and when you cry it's so cute. And you are the most beautiful girl I've seen and you aren't afraid to stand up for what you believe in, and I care for you alot and I know that if you will let me in I will be someone that is always there for you and you can count on me and if this doesn't work and if it isn't enough I don't know what is I just--"
Jay was interrupted because Erin grabbed him and kissed him. They kissed passionately and that was the best kiss he had ever had. She broke the kiss and smiled at him "You did pretty good." They laughed and continued to kiss.
A few mintues later they stopped kissing and stood there awkwardly smiling at each other. "So should I go then?" Jay asked walking down the steps.
He walked to his car and Erin watched him the whole time "Hey Jay?" She yelled from her porch.
"You're a great kisser we should maybe do that more." She said laughing.
"Oh yeah?" He said laughing with her.
"Night." She said waving. He waved back and she went inside. As soon as she saw him drive away she jumped up and down laughing and smiling. She plopped down on her bed barely sleeping just smiling.
Jay did the same.
They both felt happy and it was because of each other's company.
