Sometimes....it hurts.

"Today in class we will be describing classmates okay so if I ask you make sure you have a good word." The teacher says.

This class was 4th hour- literature. Every one hated this class. But maybe today would be different.

"Okay we will start with umm oh Rachel you start us off and give me one word to describe Kelly."

"Okay umm weirdo." Rachel said and everyone laughed even Erin.

"Hahhaa." Kelly said sarcastically.

"Okay quiet!! Erin give me a word about Jay."

Everyone looked at Erin, and Kelly looked serious this time so did Jay. She stared at him and then looked back down at her book "Erin say one word." The teacher said.

Erin looked back up and stared Jay down and raised her eyebrow, smirked and looked at the teacher "Fake." She looked back down at her book and said nothing else.

Everyone started laughing and yelling "Ohhhh!" And Kelly looked at her and whispered "Good job baby."

She looked up from her books and smiled at him, then she looked at Jay and looked back down fast. Jay turned his head towards the front of the classroom. Then Kelly cleared his throat and said "I have a word to describe Jay."

"Go ahead Kelly."

"A loser." He said starting to laugh. Following everyone else.

"Okay that's enough, work in the books." The teacher said sitting down in her chair.

But finally Jay had enough out of Kelly he couldn't deal with him anymore. He got up from his chair and punched Kelly's face then Kelly got up and punched him back, soon it turned into a real fist fight.

Erin was in shock she didn't think Jay had that in him.

"Stop it both of you!" The teacher yelled. She pulled Kelly off of Jay and Gavin grabbed Jay.

"Both of you principals office now!" The teacher screamed.

"Kelly!" Erin yelled. He looked at her but said nothing they walked into the principals office.

In the 5th period which was history Jay and Kelly came in late. "Ahh nice of you to join us,  fighters." Mr Robbins said as everyone laughed but Erin.

"Take your seats." He said as they both sat down.

Erin hated Jay already but now she hated him even more because of what happened with Kelly. The class hour was normal. Kelly and Jay stayed silent, as did everyone else.

7th period-- science class.

The teacher had all the class work and write notes from the book down. Erin and Kelly sat next to each other and so Erin wrote Kelly a note that said: ps: I still love you. :)

He chuckled quietly and they both smiled at each other, then he wrote her a note back that said: good.

The teacher got a call on his phone, and answered walking around the classroom.

"Hello?"

"Yep I'll have him get his stuff."
--
"Alright yep bye now."

"Severide? Your leaving get your stuff together."

Kelly got up from his chair and got his books, going to his locker. He turned around and looked at Erin who smiled at him. "I would kiss you but I think I have gotten in enough trouble for today baby."

"I will call you tonight." I said.

"Hey why don't you just come over after school we can "study"." He said winking at Erin.

She laughed and then the teacher yelled "Kelly go!"

He walked out of the classroom and Erin smiled at him. Jay was looking at them the whole time. And Erin noticed him once Kelly left. She looked at him and smiled showing none of her teeth. But he didn't smile at her. He turned around and kept writing, she looked away immediately, said nothing to him and went back to her work. Cheer practice and basketball were canceled for today. So Erin said goodbye to Rachel and went to her car. Jay ran up to her so that he could talk to her.

"Erin wait up!" He said getting in front of her making her stop.

She moved her hair away from the wind and closed her eyes. He laughed and looked at her. "You aren't wearing a crop top today."

"What do you want Jay?" She said sighing.

"To talk."

"About what?"

"Why do you hate me?"

"Oh I don't know, maybe because you ruined the game last night! You punched my boyfriend and--"

"It's not like I lost on purpose."

"Doesn't matter, you still ruined it. And my boyfriend why do you think its okay for you to just punch him?" Erin yelled at him.

"He called me a loser."

"Aww did that hurt your feelings?"

Jay sighed as Erin walked to her car.  "Erin!"

"Hey maybe it's because you are one!" She chuckled opening her car door. She got in her car and drove off. Jay through his jacket to the floor and headed to the bus. He sat with Adam and stayed quiet most of the time.

"You good man?" Adam asked him.

"How long has Erin and Kelly been dating?"

"About 2 years."

Jay nodded his head and continues to stay quiet. Once it was time for him to get off he rushed off the bus not even saying goodbye to Adam or anything.

I thought I would like it here, but i just wanna go home to New York, why does my dad have to be a drunk? Jay thought starting to tear up.

Erin pulled up to Kelly's house and knocked on the door. He opened it not waiting a second. "Hey we have an hour before my dad gets here." He said pulling her in the house. He took his shirt off and they ran upstairs.

This isn't just want I want from Kelly I want him to be my boyfriend not just a boyfriend fling. I wanted a real relationship and it didn't feel like this was one. Erin thought to herself as Kelly and her continued to lay on the bed kissing.

Something different than this.
