Sometimes....it hurts.

1 week later

Today was the most important day of Erins life cheer competition. The guys had a basketball tournament and the girls had cheer competition. Erin awaited this day every school day. She was determined to win even though the Cheetahs never won cheer. It was always the Bobcats. Although the guys won all the time. All Erin wanted was that win and she was gonna get it. They hopped on the bus and traveled about 3 hours. The girls did their competition first then the guys would play. This was Jay's first time at the tournament he just really didn't wanna mess it up. They all got off the bus and headed inside. They had about 15 minutes before the girls had to warm up and preform. And it was definitely official Erin and Jay were dating now.

"I want everyone waiting on the bleachers no roaming the halls!" Coach yelled to everyone.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom you wanna take the girls to wherever we have to go?" Erin whispered into Rachel's ear.

"Yeah." Rachel said nodding her head.

"Okay." Erin said going to the bathroom looking at Jay.

That was their plan to go to the "bathroom". Jay saw her and knew what he was doing so he followed along. "Coach I gotta use the bathroom." Jay said.

"Make it quick."

Jay ran behind Erin and saw her go into this little room, he opened the door then closed it behind him. She ran up to him and smiled, kissing and he kissed her back.

10 minutes later.

Jay was putting his shirt back on and Erin was putting her shoes back on, putting her hair into it's right place. "So this is good. You know I feel like we're perfect for each other." Erin says going to the door.

"Yeah." Jay says turning red.

Erin touches the door handle and turns back around "Wait here for a few minutes." She winks and walks out.

Jay laughs to himself and smiles.

The girls warm up for their cheer and get ready, they go first. Doing so many flips and hearing there guys cheer and scream for them. Erin looks at Jay and he's smiling at her, she faces her backside towards him and does more of her cheer/dances.

The other team went and Erin looked at the judges the whole time they had preformed. They we're laughing and smiling and that got her nervous.

"Alright the winning team is the Bobcats!!"

Erin was disappointed in her team and in herself. All she ever wanted to do was win cheer. And she had failed, "Although we had an amazing routine of choreo this year and we our proud to say the winning captain of this years choreography routine goes to Erin Linsday!" The judge said.

Erin was definitely surprised she never thought she was gonna win. But apparently she did. Erin heard her name and was shocked she jumped up and down as they handed her the trophy, she heard everyone screaming her name and she was so happy. She had accomplished something that meant greatness to her.

Jay came down the stairs and Erin ran into his arms, "Can you believe it?" She said as he hugged her.

She wrapped her arms around his neck "You were great!" He said smiling at her.

"Aww thank you." They kissed till coach told Jay to get to the court where they would play.

"You did it girl." Thea said hugging Erin.

"Yeah, I guess we did." Erin said as they walked behind the guys.

Erin felt so much happier than she has in a long time. She felt worth it.
