Sometimes....it hurts.

Today Kelly and Erin were going to a clinic to get it all...over with. Kelly really didn't want to do this but he wanted Erin to be okay.

He didn't know if he should tell anyone but he really wanted to say something.

"My girlfriend got pregnant about 2 months ago, we thought about it and were supposed to be going today to get an abortion. But I wanna keep it and I haven't told her but I just don't know what I should do." Kelly said confiding in a counselor.

"Well I personally don't agree with abortion right's but I understand it's hard being a teen and pregnant, um but if you wanna keep this baby you have every right and it's not just this girl's baby it's yours too so I think you should tell her how you feel." He replied.

Kelly nodded his head and stayed silent, as they finished up there session.

Kelly and Erin drove to the clinic right after school, skipping practice. He parked the car and she looked at him nervously. "You ready?"

He nodded his head and said "Yep."

They walked in hand and hand and Erin got her apt scheduled. They sat down and waited till it was time. Then Kelly realized he needed to say something... before it was to late.

"Hey I've been thinking maybe we should leave and just keep the--"

"Erin Linsday?" The doctor called.

Erin stood up and touched Kelly's hand saying no words. She walked in the back room.

Kelly had missed his chance. He covered his face with his hands and sighed. He had no chance now. They we're taking a life that he wanted to keep and raise. Now it was too late.

30 minutes later.

Erin walked out of the room and Kelly stood up immediately. She nodded her head, closed her eyes holding back tears. Which meant she had went through with it.

Kelly wished he had said something sooner. But now he could never have that chance again.

They got in the car and Kelly took Erin home, today Camille and Hank were coming back from Ohio, but not until late tonight. Kelly walked her up into her room.

They stood there awkwardly for what seemed forever. "So it's done?"

Erin touched her stomach gently and nodded her head. Kelly touched her stomach and closed his eyes trying not to do anything.

"Kelly this month things have been rough but we aren't getting back together okay?"

Kelly said no words he hugged her and she hugged him back. All he wanted was to hold Erin and his kid forever but he couldn't, he lost everything. He lost both of them.

They ended their hug and Kelly kissed her, she kissed him back and never pulled away. Then they stopped and she closed her eyes putting her head down. "Please tell me that was a goodbye kiss." She said.

He kissed her head then put his head against her's "Goodbye." Kelly said simply walking out.

They were officially broken up. Erin started to cry touching her stomach. Thinking about what she had just did. She and Kelly were done she had just gone to a clinic to have an abortion and she was all alone. She sat on her bed crying all night.

She had just ruined everything.

The next day.

Erin went to school acting normal like everyone else, so did Kelly but they both knew nothing was normal. At all. Erin opened her locker and got her books out heading to the next class. She closed her locker door and saw Rachel and Thea standing right there. She got scared for a minute, not expecting them to be right there.

Rachel and Thea started to laugh but Erin stayed quiet. "You okay?" Rachel asked her.

"I'm fine." She said starting to walk to class with both of them.

"So listen Thea has to ask you something." Rachel said as Erin looked at Thea.

"I want you to be completely honest with me Erin, if I started dating Kelly would it bother you?"

"Why?" Erin said looking away.

"Because he asked me out last night and I just wanted to ask you first."

Erin stopped and looked at Thea "Date him all you want, I don't care."

"Erin." Rachel said.

"No, seriously it doesn't bother me." Erin said laughing quietly and walking into homeroom.

Thea and Rachel looked at each other and then went into the classroom.

Erin had been by herself most of the day, she told Rachel about the clinic trip and told her she just wanted to be alone. She walked outside to lunch alone, sat alone and did everything alone.

Story of my life. She thought.

"Hey can I sit here?" Someone asked her.

She looked up and saw Jay standing near her. She nodded her head and he took a seat across from her. "So where's Rachel?" He asked.

"Thea probably." She said continuing to eat her salad.

He nodded his head and sat there awkwardly "So you've  been acting weird I mean you and Kelly back together or something? You've barely even said 2 words to me." He said.

"Kelly and I are done and he has a girlfriend so no, I don't think we are back together."

Jay nodded his head "Well you remember a few days ago at practice when Kelly stormed out?"

"Yeah what about it?" She asked.

"Well I heard Rachel and Thea talking saying that you guys we're in the same situation, what situation is that?"

"It's none of your business Jay."

"I was just--"

"Look, I gotta go I'm sorry I will text you later or something." Erin said putting her trash in the trash can. She grabbed her bag and started to walk away.

"No! Wait Erin!" He yelled but she didnt respond, she just kept walking.

He put his head down and sighed loudly.

He needed to know what happened to her and someday he would.
