Chapter III

Adam just happened to pass Shiro's session in the training room, and his outfit was another highlight. He was wearing black leggings and a grey tank top, showing off his muscles. Adam blushes slightly at the sight of his boyfriend like this. His blush deepened when Shiro pulled up his shirt to wipe his face, showing of his six-pack. Adam grinned stupidly as he watched Shiro train from above.
"Adam?"
Adam jumped slightly as he was knocked out of his train of thoughts. He looked behind him to see Pidge.
"Oh, uh hey, Pidge." Adam said, trying to look casual.
"Were you checking Shiro out?"
"What! No! Why would you think that?"
"Oh I don't know, maybe because you were staring at him while he was training." She said sarcastically.
"Actually I was criticizing him." Adam lied.
"Sure, or maybe, just maybe, you like him."
Well fuck.
"You're not wrong."
Fuck.
"Really?!" Pidge exclaimed.
"Yep." Adam confirmed.
"Can I tell him!?" Pidge grinned.
"He already knows." He told her.
"So he rejected you?"
"No."
"So your...together?"
"Yep."
Pidge's eyes lit up!
"How long?" She asked.
"A few weeks."
"Why didn't you tell anyone else?"
"Takashi wanted to keep it a secret. I don't." Was Adam's true answer.
"Why are you telling me this?" Pidge asked.
"Cause you're the only one who figured it out."
Pidge nodded.
"I won't tell anyone. There's actually something I've been meaning to talk to you about." She said nervously.
"What is it?" Adam asked.
"Let's say you like someone but they like someone else, what do you do?"
Adam didn't speak for a second. Well, he had gone through the same thing when he was almost certain Shiro liked Curtis.
(This hurt me to write. I really don't like Curtis.)
"Drop subtle hints. In some cases flirting actually works." Adam said.
Pidge nodded.
"Who is it anyway?" He asked.
Pidge hesitated.
"Lance." She mumbled.
"Really? Lance?" Adam asked stupidly.
"Yea...?"
"That's, uh, fine."
"Yea. I'm gonna go. Don't have sex on our couch." Pidge said before heading out.
"Pidge!" He exclaimed.
"No regrets!" She yelled before running down the hall.
Adam frowned.
He felt better now that someone knew, but this was what he expected.

"Oh my god guys!" Pidge exclaimed as she ran into the room where the team was hanging out, her computer clutched tightly in her hands.
Hunk was startled and quite literally, dropped his in croissant.
"Stop, he could have dropped his croissant." Lance said, the team cracked up at the reference.
"I did drop my croissant." Hunk said, the reference completely flying over his head. "Anyway, what's up Pidge?"
"Okay, so the fans have started shipping us, like romantically." She explained.
"I'm sorry, what does ship mean? Like a boat?" Allura asked.
"In this case ship means when you take two people and portray them romantically." Adam explained.
"Exactly, I cant believe I'm being shipped with people, it's like my worst nightmare and my biggest dream rolled into one." Pidge said.
"What ships are there?" Lance asked.
"Well, there are the smaller ones, such as Ladam. Even though it's mostly just platonic stuff. There's also Shieth. There's Shance. That one isn't very popular. There's Shatt. There's Shallura. There's Kallura." Pidge listed.
"Wait, Shieth, as in..." he motioned toward himself and Shiro.
"Yep." Pidge said, "another one is Allurance." She explained.
"I like that one." Lance said while giving finger guns toward Allura. Everyone rolled there eyes.
"There's also Kidge and Plance." Lance said as he peered over her computer. "I'm guessing that Keith and Pidge, and then Pidge and me."
Pidge blushes heavily.
"Then there the more popular ones. Such as Klance, I love that one."  Pidge chuckled.
Lance gasped.
"Never in my life would I date that mullet head!" Lance yelled, pointing at Keith's mullet.
"Sure, sure." She teased.
If she likes Lance, why is she saying she likes Keith and Lance together? Adam thought.
"There's also Hidge/Punk. Mostly platonically though." Lance read.
"Then there's Heith. And my personal favorite, Adashi/Shadam." Pidge smirked.
(Shadam kept autocorrecting itself to Shazam wtf?)
Adam didn't get it.
"What the fuck is Adashi?" He asked stupidly.
Shiro face palmed.
"Who wants to tell him?" He asked, praying to god it wasn't him.
"I will!" Lance said ecstatically.
He put his hand on Adam's shoulder.
"You see man, Adashi is the mix of Shiro's first name and your name, and Shadam is the mix of Shiro and Adam. So basically people think you do the frick frack." Lance explained.
"Oh. Wait...Oh!" Adam hid his head in his hands, causing the group to burst out in laughter.
People think Adam and Shiro would be a good couple???
Well, they were a damn good couple, if he did say so himself.
Everyone started saying things like 'I ship it!" And 'It's so canon!"
What the hell does that mean?! Adam thought.
"And it's currently the most popular one!" Pidge exclaimed.
"Shut up, Pidge." Adam mumbled.
Pidge chuckled.
The team calmed down after a few minutes.
"Anyway, Coran and I have a mission planned. We need a certain object for the battle against the Galra and they have it. So tomorrow at about noon we'll take off. Make sure to train and get some sleep! I'll give you more details later!" Allura interrupted.
She walked of, leaving the team.
"I'm gonna go start on dinner. I'll see you guys later." Hunk said, he stood up and walked toward the kitchen.
"I'm going to go train, see you later." Adam said, as he to left.
"Same." Shiro said as he walked off.
They didn't actually go train, they just ran into Shiro's room.
"Adam! You almost gave it away!" Shiro whisper screamed.
"Would that really be so bad?" Adam said back.
"Yes, I told you I'm not ready." He said.
"Well I'm sick of it! I'm sick of hiding it! They seemed fine with it!" Adam yelled.
Shiro froze, Adam didn't usually snap like that, but when he did he knew it was bad.
"I-I'm sorry." Adam collapsed onto his bad, his head in his hands.
Shiro sat next to him and rubbed his back. He pulled the now crying man closer to him.
"I'm sorry, Adam. I'm so sorry. I don't know how to do this anymore. I don't know how I'm supposed to love you." Shiro whispered. Adam looked up.
"Are you saying you don't love me?" He said weakly.
"No, of course not. I'm saying I don't know how to make you happy any more. I feel like all I'm doing is hurting you. I don't know how to do this anymore." Shiro broke down in tears.
"Takashi, you're the best thing that's happened to me. I love you, never doubt that." Adam whispered to the man crying in his chest.
"Teach me."

"What?"

"Teach me how to love you."
