Learn To Love Again | Adashi

Chapter VI

"Hey, Takashi?" Adam said as he opened Shiro's door. God. Fucking. Damn it. He was shirtless. Adam felt his face burn
"Yea?" Shiro turned around, the light in the room shining on his muscles. Adam was surprised it still made him stutter seeing him shirtless. They had dated for like nine years!
"I-uh, g-good luck put there, I guess." He stuttered as he tried to look anywhere else but Shiro's somehow perfect chest. No human should be that perfect, the brunette though, it's just unfair. The right side of the olders lip curved into a small smile.
"Thanks, you to, I guess." He mimicked the last part. The brunettes face twisted into an almost pout. He was mostly just trying  to make Shiro feel bad, but after twelve years of doing this, he had gotten the memo.
"Was that all?" The black and white haired man asked.
"No." He said almost embarrassingly. He looked down at the floor.
"Well?" Shiro asked, he didn't say it in an inpatient way, he actually though it was cute when Adam was nervous. Well, he always thought Adam is cute. It's just the things like this that kind of sparked his memory to be like "Oh right, my boyfriend is the cutest person in the universe and he makes me fluster every time I see him. Just look at him! He's so damn adorable." Its just nice being reminded of something you already have memorized. Okay, actually being reminded of something you already have memorized can be annoying if it's another person doing it, but in this case it was perfectly fine.
After a few moments of silence he finally just blurted out "I want to kiss you."
Okay look, he knew it was kind of weird just to go to your boyfriends room just to say that, but kissing Shiro was something Adam craved. It was like an addiction. It was just the way the older male's surprisingly soft lips molded so perfectly with his own that made him always wanting more. He often though about what it would be like to just lay in bed with Shiro eating Double Stuffed Oreo's while watching cheesy rom-coms- and maybe some horror ones so he could pretend he was scared and have Shiro kiss his forehead until the scary parts were over- and just kiss each other in between scenes for all of eternity. That would be that motherfucking life. Especially the Double Stuffed Oreo's, that stuff was the shit.
But unfortunately, there was the reality of everything.
"You really didn't have to ask but okay." Shiro chuckled.
"Yea, well, it's your fault for having such perfect lips." Adam stated.
"You think I have perfect lips?" He said smugly.
"Don't get ahead of yourself. Now can I just kiss you already?" The brunette begged.
The older didn't hesitate to latch his arm around his back and and smush there lips together.
In Shiro's opinion Adam's lips were kind of, well, perfect. They were gentle, soft, and carried so much passion. Everything about him was perfect, but why didn't Adam see that? Sure, he had flaws, but who doesn't?
As soon as their lips broke apart Shiro whispered the one thing he was thinking.
"You're perfect."
"Takashi, I'm not." He confessed.
"Yea, but you're perfect for me."
"I love you."
Adam pulled his lover into a tight embrace witch he happily returned.
"I love you to." He whispered.
But as you've learned, these moments never last long.
"Guys, we're leaving in fifteen!" Matt called from down the hall.
"I should go get ready." Adam said, although he wanted to stay in his arms.
"Yea." Shiro agreed. Adam slowly began to walk away, but he had one last thing to say.
"Hey, Ad."
Adam turned around half way.
"Yea?"

"Come back to me after this?"

"You know it."

  "Look likes we're here." Pidge said softly as the planet Spier came into view.
( did I name a planet after someone from my favorite movie/book? Yes. Yes it did. You're welcome Love, Simon fans. I'm not going to lie I wanted to name it Spierfeld. Don't judge me.)
The planet had giant ice bergs in the water and the small land portion was covered in snow. There was a large building on the ice that was visibly a Galra station. There was also a large monitor scanning the island for potential threats.
Pidge turned on 'Stelf' and the lion started to turn invisible. Adam watched the planet's ground get closer as his anxiety grew.
"You ready?" Pidge asked.
Adam nodded.
"Yea, let's go."
