Kennedy's Pov
I woke up in my bed extremely groggy and not wanting to do anything. The rest of yesterday was honestly amazing. We didn't do anything really. After a couple hours of cuddling and talking about absolutely nothing, I went with Jason to get Danny from the hospital. Then we all went out to Waffle House for dinner and they brought me home. I didn't even change back into my clothes. They're still in Jason's room and I wore his sweatpants home.

Matter of fact, I'm gonna wear them again today. I have no shame in wearing sweatpants twice in a row. Though I do need to shower.

I slid out of bed and hopped in the shower for a quick wash and brushed my teeth. I got dressed in Jason's gray sweatpants and a white v-neck shirt. I slipped on my tan Ugg boots and combed out my hair after shrugging on Jason's navy zip up again.

Yup. I'm basically going to school in Jason's clothes.

I grabbed my backpack and keys and went downstairs with a plan to just go straight to school without breakfast today. But that plan is immediately canceled when I walk into the foyer to see my dad and Jason talking.

Civically. No yelling or insults or angry faces. I'm concerned.

I walked closer and notice Jason has a cup of coffee in his hand. He doesn't drink coffee though. He doesn't like coffee.

"Morning." I greeted, breaking their attention away from each other. They both looked at me and Jason flashed me a half smile.

"Good morning Kenny!" Dad chirped with a smile and I raised my eyebrow in confusion. "Jason bought you coffee. Isn't that chivalrous?" Dad asked. I walked over to Jason and he handed me the coffee.

"Yeah, thanks Romeo." I said and sipped my coffee.

Romeo, about that. Yesterday while we were cuddling, Jason was half asleep and a little loopy. He kept whispering sweet compliments and stuff in my ear like an innocent little lover-boy and he reminded me of Romeo from Shakespeare. He hates it because he doesn't even remember what he said but I love it and now he's my Romeo.

"I heard what Jason did to Peter the other day and finally found out why he's suspended. At first I was furious that you'd rather be with a no good criminal instead of a star athlete and gentleman." Dad started and I grimaced.

Okay ouch.

"But Jason explained to me why he brutally broke Peter's jaw and I actually see it now. Why didn't you tell me everything he did to you?" Dad sighed pulling me in for a hug. I had to hold out my arm a little so he didn't spill my coffee.

"You adored Peter. It was better to tell you we just weren't working out." I said rubbing his back kind of awkwardly.

"If I knew I wouldn't have gone to his games or given him six hundred dollars." Dad said. My eyes widened and I broke our hug.

"You gave him six hundred bucks?" I asked. Dad nodded and I sighed. I took a long sip of my coffee.

"For what exactly?" I asked calmly.

"College things. Shouldn't you be working on college applications too?" Dad asked. I rolled my eyes and turned around.

"I'm gonna be late for school. See you later dad." I said and walked out the front door. Jason took a minute but then jogged out and caught up with me.
