Something about him was familiar. Bow just didn't know what? Had he knocked him out before? He was a Horde soldier after all, he wouldn't be totally surprised if they had fought.
There was just something so off-putting about him. What was he doing running away? Much less in the Whispering Woods.
He wanted to ask him so many questions, but instead focused on helping him walk. He had hit him right in the shoulder, and while it had not been his legs, the pain gave Kyle a hard time walking.
"Can't we, just, pull it out?!"
"I mean, if you want it to bleed more." Bow realized the harshness of his words, and muttered a small apology.
Bow never wanted to actually hit someone with an arrow. He had trained to keep all his tactics non-lethal, as not to hurt anyone, even the enemy. Hurting people wasn't really his thing. He just wanted to be friends.
Leaning on Bow for support, the managed to get Kyle up and walking. It hurt, but thinking about the punishments waiting for him back in the Fright Zone were worse.
The two went forth together, through the woods. Bow knew the castle was a couple hours away, and once they got there, he wouldn't have much time for questions. Now. Now was the time.
"So... What's a Horde Soldier doing out in the Whispering Woods? You didn't get attracted here by some glowing sword did you?" Bow asked.
Kyle let out a pained chuckle. "I was sick and tired of the Horde. That's all."
Bow was surprised. "That's it? For real?"
"Yeah. I know. I'm sorta surprised myself. I'm kinda a pushover. If you asked me a while ago if was ever going to run from the Hoard, I would told you that it was insane. But yet somehow here I am."
A little bit of Bow didn't believe him. Maybe he was a spy. I mean, it didn't seem like something the Horde wouldn't do. But most of him believed Kyle.
He knew he could be a little too trusting sometimes, but if he hadn't trusted Adora, there might not be a She-ra right now. So he took Kyle's word.
Kyle... Where had he seen him before?
"Do I know you from somewhere?"
Kyle's heart began to race. It hurt that he didn't remember, but then again... It was a while ago. And there were a lot of Horde soldiers... He let it slide.
"Uhhh... No?"
"Weird. I just had this feeling..."
They made small talk for a while, Kyle occasionally needing to stop and rest. Eventually, they made it to the castle. Bow had taken them around to the side, near Glimmer's window. The last thing he wanted was to cause a calamity.
Carefully, he sat Kyle down besides a tree.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"Sending a message."
Bow carefully selected a regular arrow from his quiver. The last thing he wanted was to blow up the Princesses room.
He turned, and faced the closed opening. He carefully pulled back... and then released.
