Surprisingly enough, Bow was the first to reach Angella. Adora had apparently ran into Glimmer, leading in a dog pile of complaints and pain that Bow was so lucky to avoid.

What followed when everyone caught up, was an extremely long discussion, about the rules and what was to happen.

"He is not to be left unattended, and he cannot leave castle grounds unsupervised. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes mom." Glimmer crossed her arms, and avoided her mother's stare.

"I'm not sure how much longer he will be stuck in bed, so please be careful."

"We will! C'mon guys!"

Adora rushed into the room, Bow and Glimmer following close behind. There were a couple of beds, and herbs and brews scattered about. In the one in the middle, was a barely awake Kyle.

The Arrow that had been wedged in his shoulder was gone, covered with a mix of leaves and bandages.

"Adora?"

"Kyle!"

She rushed over and gave the boy a hug.

"Ow- OW Adora watch the shoulder please!"

She reluctantly sat him down, being cautious of his shoulder.

"What are you doing here Kyle! I thought the only time I'd see you was when I would have to punch you or throw you or something."

"Wait what?"

Adora looked away, avoiding his confused stare.

Glimmer quickly took the chance to chime in.

"You kinda are with the bad guys. I'm pretty sure you were one of the ones who hauled me and Bow away at princess prom too."

Bow looked at him confused. "I thought It was just the big buff crab lady?!"

"Bow, those guards weren't guards."

"Oh."

Kyle shifted around uncomfortably.

"Yeah... Sorry about that. Catra said she was going to make me be the one to clean the bathrooms, and no one wants that. She still made me do it afterwards so I guess it didn't really matter."

"Oooh. Yeah bathroom duty sucks." Adora chuckled as she recalled her memories at the horde.

"Okay what the- Ugh... Never mind. Look, "Kyle," we are only keeping you because Bow shot you-"

"Glimmer I swear, bring it up one mORE TIME-"

"-as soon as you are better," Glimmer continued," You are out of here!"

Adora and Bow looked at each other. That wasn't the rule.

"Uh Glimmer, Best Friend Squad meeting please?"

"UGH Fine!"

Kyle tried to go as silent as possible, to listen to the squad's chat.

"That wasn't the deal Glimmer!"

"Yeah your mom said that we had to keep an eye on him. We can't just let him go! I mean like you said, what if he walks out of here with important information!"

"No guys, listen, I only said that to get him to talk! If he really does need help or whatever, won't he like, give us information so he can stay later?"

Once again, Bow and Adora showed a doubtful stare.

"I mean... I guess?"

Bow looked back at Kyle, who immediately turned away, and looked elsewhere. He had to stop himself from laughing at Kyle. It was pretty obvious he had been trying to listen in. It was cute. He quickly realized that Glimmer and Adora were arguing again, and returned to the conversation.

"-it doesn't add up si-"

Bow quickly cut in.

"Guys chill out, it's fine, maybe he will just, uh, forget!"

This time they all turned and looked at him.

"Okay yeah he definitely looks like the forgetful type," Glimmer chuckled.

"Okay Kyle, we have decided. You shall be staying with-"

Adora stopped herself mid sentence. They hadn't decided where he would be staying.

She looked back to Bow and Glimmer for answers, both who looked at her with blank faces.

"You know what fine- NOSE GOES!"

Both Glimmer and Adora's hands shot up, Bow just a second late.

"Years of best friend training, wASTED!" He looked down in defeat.

"Looks like you, my old friend, are Bow's NEW ROOMIE!!!"

Glimmer started laughing in the corner. The look on Bows face was amazing.

"Uh... Okay?" Kyle was trying not to scream.

Out of everyone, he gets stuck with him.
