She had a plan. A last resort of sorts. A way to earn Catra's love. Scorpia was going to get into Brightmoon and capture the Horde's escapee. Maybe then Catra would realize how great she was. How perfect they could be. Oh she had a plan alright. She just needed an opportunity.
Little did she know, her opportunity was about to present itself.

"C'mon Bow, it's been a stressful few weeks, we all need a break! A party would be a great morale booster!" Bow turned away from Adora and focused on the scroll he was reading. He had agreed to talk with her in the castles library while Glimmer and the Queen spent some time "interrogating" Kyle.
"I don't know Adora. The last time we spent some time to "take a break" me and Glimmer ended up in the hordes hands and we lost Ent-..."
He stopped himself when he saw the look of pain in her eyes those memories brought. "Look, all I'm saying is, it's not a good idea to give the Horde a chance to catch us off guard. That's just my opinion though, you should really be taking this up with Glimmer and the Queen. This is isn't my rebellion. So what are you planning?" He looked up at her with a smug look on his face.
She tried her best to act dumb. "Planning something? Me? Never! Pshhh, haha, that's so silly of you to think that, me and Glimmer, would try to pair you up with-"
He looked at her, clearly very interested. Adora jumped up quickly and put a hand over her mouth. "How dare you use your psycho-logyi-cal thingy tricks on me!"
Bow laughed at her. "You're seriously trying to pair me up with someone??? You have to tell me who I need to know now. I also need to know how you get Glimmer in on it too, as stubborn as she is."
Adora, flustered, took a deep breath and sat down. "I can't tell you. You just have to trust me. I promise if you let us throw this party you won't regret it! Plus I already have Glimmer and the Queens permission."
Bow sighed and shook his head. "I'm telling you Adora, it's not a good idea, but I'm too invested into this crazy plan of yours to say no. Ill take you up in that promise."
Her face lit up. "Really?!"
"Really really."
She extended her arm to him, putting out her pinky. "Pinky promise!?"
He smiled and locked his pinky with hers. "Pinky promise."
"YES!!!" She grabbed Bow up and held him in a bear hug. "You won't regret it, ahhahaha!"
"Adora-air-please!" He wheezed from her embrace.
"Oh yeah sorry." She put him down, and he leaned on the table to catch his breath. Their attention shifted to the entrance of library as Kyle came running in.
"BOW, ADORA! HELP!" He came rushing in collapsing into Bow's arms.
"Kyle! What's wrong?" Bow shook him gently, anxious for a response. He nodded at Adora, who's lighthearted mood quickly changed serious, drawing her sword in preparation.
"Its-Its Glimmer. She's crazy!"
"What are you talking about?! Are you- WAIT what's on his face?"
Bow looked closely.
"Mascara???"
They looked up as Glimmer came rushing holding several dresses.
"Kyle we have to pick out a outfit for the party!!!"
Bow turned to Adora with a stern look on his face.
"Uh, surprise!?"
