I laid on the bed, allowing Anna to heal my wounds and applying whatever she made on my skin. She said that it was a mixture of herbs that she created by herself for cure .
I didn't believe what she had told me earlier, there was no logical reason. But to get out of that odd situation and to find my family, I had to stay with her.
"And now what do I do?" I questioned.
She kept cleaning the wound while replying. "Leo will decide."
"Why him?"
"You still need to learn a lot about us, he was our Prince before and now he's our leader."
"Was!"
"Yeah, then he gave up on the throne for the war."
"So he chose to fight instead of being the next king."
She nodded.
"Why, though?"
Before she could answer, the door got hit so hard and revealed someone behind it.
That dramatic entry!
He looked so mad coming in. "We don't share our private information with foreigners," then he glared at the blonde. "Right, Anna?"
She was so troubled that she couldn't utter a word and lowered her head.
He looked at me smirking evilly and furiously. I kept staring at that deep dimple on the side if his left cheek in spite of that.
He got too close and studied my whole body, thus I covered myself by the sheets embarrassed.
"Who are you?"
"Um.. Diana."
"I didn't demand for your name."
That was so savage.
"Then what do you want to know?"
He ignored me and looked at Anna. "Did you check her?"
"Yes." She replied nervously.
"What did you know about her?"
"She lost her family in the woods, then somehow found herself in the forbidden area next to the phantoms, where you saved her. She claims that she is from another time."
"Another time?"
Both of them gazed at me which made me feel like I was mad and hopeless.
"What do you mean? Diana." He asked me indeed, but I didn't answer because I had no idea what was going on.
"I'm talking to you." He added.
"I don't know," eventually I spoke. "I just want to find my family."
"Are you sure that she's not a phantom? We spy on them all the time so they might spy on us too."
This one was for Anna.
"I checked her well_ all her body. And she's entirely human and weak to be a phantom or a transformed one."
"That's still suspicious."
"So what are we going to do with her?"
"I was thinking of taking her back and leaving her where I found her before."
What! No!! My eyes widened, as I heard that.
Luckily Anna said. "That's not a valid solution, there are many possibilities of her identity and her aims. What if she's useful for us, what if she's from Infenya but the shock made her lose memory and believe other things, and what if_"
